I agree with Osiris' statement. There is WAY too much comic relief in movies nowadays. Star Trek especially had too much comic relief for my taste, though I still thoroughly enjoyed it. That was the one thing I liked about Terminator Salvation. It might not have been a wonderful movie, but at least it didn't try to make you laugh every five seconds.

They should scrap the entire movie and put it in as a bundle with the GI-Joe Action Figures. So that way in 30yrs the movie can actually be worth something as a rare item at some Action Figure Con or on Ebay?

Rotten Tomatoes does not like anything, well except TDK
and Iron Man. Nobody really gave this movie a chance from the start, so what people moan about now will not be a surprise or anything new. Just save ur money and don't go and see it. And Don't go see it just to Bitch about it, if u already have your mind made up.

Most people want the Bullshit saturday morning version, that was campy, and cheesy. What? u want em runing around for hour and a half yelling YO Joe?? The Accerator Suits are from Sigma Six, google it. Yeah everybody knew what exactly Mr. Wayans role would be in the Movie. Don't act surprised. Better than wolverine and that made millions, more money than most of us will never see in a lifetime

I don't like it because it isn't like the campy cartoon shhh, I don't like it because it seems like a bad movie. The plot is weak, the acting in the trailers looks flat, and the dialogue(especially in this trailer) is beyond juvenile.
I don't mean to sound overly antagonistic Shh, but what about this movie makes you think it's going to be good? Everyone who says it's going to be bad has valid reasons, and it's supporters never have any reasons why they believe it's going to be any good. I'm just wondering.

Personally I didnt know what to expect from the new Star Treck Film. JJ Abrams has turned out to be a pretty good director so far. He is no.....Robert Zemeckis, Spielberg,Riddley Scott, Oliver Stone, Scorcesse, Coppolla or Donner. But of the new up and coming directors I like him very much. So for me StarTrek was very hazy especially with most of the actors being unknowns. I didnt dismiss the film because I knew that the film had to be decent at the very least or else the Trekkies would end up bitching up a storm and killing themselves in the street. I actually expected to see the film after I had spoken to friends and read some reviews but I never scratched off my movie going list and added it to my rental lists like I have with GI-Joe.

GI-Joe is directed by the dim witt asshole Stephen Sommers and and there are a bunch of unkown actors in the GI-Joe film that obviously suck as actors by the performances we have wittnessed. Sommers did such a piss poor job the man isnt even allowed to sit in the same room as the film editor.

And you want the rest of us to have some faith? To give it a chance. ......hmm I dont think so

GRIF, Marlon Wayans said his character wouldn't be ALL jokes, but there would still be some comic relief.

That said, I have a sneakingsuspicioni t willbe more than he let on, and the film will still suck more than a hoover.

teabag- Actually, i found all Tranformers trailers decent at least. So far, Joe's given me nothin.

LEEE- I know it's the movies dude. But i figure since they went through the trouble of inventing "accelerator suits", it should have been for the simple purpose of making them more fast and agile, not heavy and clumsy. I bet you 10$ snake eyes wouldn't be caught dead in one of them suits. Those suits look as lame as Jaxx's cyber arms in Mortal Kombat Annihilation! Now THAT's lame!!!

Dare I say it (lest I jinx the whole thing...), this is looking PRETTY [FRICK]IN' GOOD! Now let's hope the didn't just edit all the best scenes toether and called it a coomercial...
