IM PRETTY SURE EVERYONE WILL LOVE THIS MOVIE , I MEAN IF YOU SAW LIVE ACTION GI JOE CARTOON FIGURES IN THEIR ORIGINAL COSTUMES IT WOULDNT WORK, AND THEY PUT STUFF THAT WOULD WORK I THINK, YOU GET THE TECH IN THERE AND THE MAIN CHARACTERS RIGHT YOUR GOOD, BUT THE ONE THING IM HAPPY ABOUT IS THAT SNAKE EYES HAS BEEN REPRESENTED WELL AND THEY GOT RAY PARK TO PLAY HIM..I THINK, AND EVEN AS THE CARTOON BACK IN THE DAY, SNAKEYES IS THE KEY, YOU SCREW HIM UP AND THE LYNCH MOBS WILL COME RUNNING AND SO FAR, FROM WHAT IVE SEEN..IT LOOKS LIKE THEY GOT HIM RIGHT.

TRUE, AND DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE THE ORIGINAL STUFF BUT I THINK THEIR GOING FOR REAL WORLD SITUATIONS, THESE ARE SOLDIERS THAT HAVE THE LATEST IN TECH UP AGAINST A INSANELY TECHED OUT TERRORIST GROUP..IF I WENT OUT AFTER THEM ID WANT ARMOR AND WHATEVER GOING AFTER THEM.1ST STREETFIGHTER WAS TRUE TO COSTUMES SORTA AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM

DOESNT MATTER WHO DOES WHAT, EVERY FAVORITE CARTOON OR BOOK OR WHATEVER WILL ALWAYS HAVE ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT WILL SAY "FAIL"..NOBODY CAN SEE PAST WHAT THEY LOVE AND KNOW..ANYONE THAT TRIES TO CHANGE OR IMPROVE SOMETHING WILL GET FIRED ON REGARDLESS, HONESTLLY, HECK MAN I JUST WANNA HAVE A FUN TIME WATCHING A MOVIE.

They already did this river-boat entrance when Daniel Craig was introduced as the new James Bond. That was much more appropriate. And having some soldier/actors pretending to fight just looks stupid when the actual GI Joes are sitting on a boat wearing big lifejackets.

where did I ever say I expect this movie to be Shakespeare or Oscar worthy? I expect movies to be good. Whether they are dramas comedys or action film. Just because a move is based on a cartoon or happens to come out in the summer does not excuse it being bad. I am going to see this movie and if it is good I'll be the first to admit it. If it's bad I will say that as well. But calling people names because they don't just turn off There brains in the movie theatre is disrepectful and childish....assface.

So is it your position that a movie is incapable of being bad if its made as a popcorn movie? So all you have to do to avoid criticism of a movie is to say it's just a popcorn movie don't put any thought into it? I should tell that to movie marketers and maybe they could put It in the poster. So what would you consider a bad movie? Have you ever seen a movie you thought sucked? Based on your standard I don't see how you could have. And whoever said they were expecting this movie to be deep? I believe people want it to be good not deep. There's a difference.....and for your info I may or may not be in your category of ass. Irrelevant, as I stated someone having a different opinion than yours about a movie does not make them an ass. I don't care for juvenile name calling just cause opinions differ. Unles ofciurse it's supermike cause he's an asshole.

fotc@ i called you an assface cause you called other people an ass. it was to demonstrate a point. and i believe lots of people hated transformes, and the crappyness was not accepted by all. hence the millions of post about it. millions of post in which people kept saying "its just a fun action popcorn movie quite thinking so much about it".....didnt fly with me then wont fly with me now. and just cause a movie makes lots of money doesnt make it good. there are hundreds of examples about that (spiderman 3, phantom menace) i will see this movie and make an informed opinion then. but since this is still (for now anyway) a free county i can say that it looks like shit and will probably suck. that way if its good ill be surprised, if it sucks i wont be dissapointed. assface.
