@nailbiter,How was it not gi joe?? Every episode introduced something new, and those suits fit right in with every gadget that they did. i take it you never saw gi joe series 2? It introduced even more tech gear in every episode

@ReverendJonnyNemo exactly my thoughts... it was interesting the planted Tatum later into the trailer being as he was supposed to be killed in the opening of the movie. This was clearly a play to cut more of him into the film. I don't buy the 3D stuff one bit.

Noon, huh? Well, I love nooners. :P I can't stand the first G.I. Joe movie.

The sequel looked like what the first one should've been, but them delaying it has made me lose some interest.

I didn't like the first one. it had a few good moments and some decent casting, but it fell flat on nearly every level. Especially the awful effects.


However, this one look like it will be a lot of fun. The early previews really made it feel like a GI Joe movie, which the first didn't. I'm disappointed by the reshoots, but I'm still looking forward to it.

@nail, ha so because you didn't like the suits, they don't fit in the gi joe universe?? They can have a mass device, a weather dominator, jet packs, laser guns, mind control devices, etc, yet they can't have Exo suits???

GI Joe: Rise of Cobra - was one of the worst films I have ever seen. Stephen Sommers is a horrible director. The opening scene in that movie made zero sense and then you flash forward approx 400 years and call it "the not to distant future"? Holy hell on stick if that doesnt sum up how bad it was let me continue: JGL is cobra commander, Snake eyes costume has lips (why he's a mute), they are not all American, Destro CGI was a joke, he would have died, they are walking around in the artic with no protection( Sommers doesnt worry about hypothermia apparently) Even as a summer popcorn flick this was bad, worse the Van Helsing also directed by Sommers.
