Britt Reid is the son of LA’s most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene – until his father mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father’s more industrious and inventive employees, Kato, they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves – protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets. Using all his ingenuity and skill, Kato builds the ultimate in advanced retro weaponry, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car equal parts firepower and horsepower. Rolling in a mobile fortress on wheels and striking the bad guys with Kato’s clever gadgets, The Green Hornet and Kato quickly start making a name for themselves.

Good stuff LEE. I'm not going to watch them though...I made that mistake with Kick-Ass and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. I felt like I'd already seen the movies by the time they were eventually released! :P

not very impressed, but I'm thinking Christoph Waltz will be the only saving grace for this film

God, they can't get anything right in this film! No shot of Furlong after he's blown away by Waltz's double barreled gun? Also, people are going to think Kato is a robot, judging by the way the fight sequence was done.

Did the comicbookmovie.com main page change colors? I only have internet on my phone and it looks like the background went from white to black. Just curious.

Looks like a good film to me. I love the preview with them singing gangsta paradise. Never read any of the old Green Hornet comics nor watched the 70's tv show. But I don't think many other people have either, I guess that's why they're taking more liberties with the character.
