In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Wow, the haters are in full force today. Why don't you artistic geniuses go to WB and show them how it's done with your obvious marketing and graphic design skills? Show them you resume with all those movie posters you guys have created for major films.
Jebus.
Only thing I kinda agree with is that I'm not really crazy about how they've designed Kilowog. The initial concept art looked better.

I think it looks nice. The movie will make it good internationally because the story is different and the characters are exciting and more

Nice find, but his head looks kinda photoshopped on quite baitly and his costume looks ridiculously bright there... Still a bit iffy about Reynolds as Hal, movie's starting 2 look better but still...
Still, check out my Fantastic Four fan cast if u got the chance!

Yeah I really liked what they did with the concept art, though I disagree about Tomar, I think the finished product actually looks pretty good. I'm guessing that with Abin Sur, they had to refine the makeup because Temura's face isn't thin enough to fully resemble the concept art. You gotta admit though, Geoffrey Rush's voice really adds a new dimension to Tomar Re, great bit of voice casting.

I tend to agree with you, CeramycTyle. The Tomar Re in the concept art has a rather human looking body with his head strapped on. In the film he has a more alien looking body that seems to flow from head to body. Kilowog is similar but I think they wanted a slightly more realistic version with what appears to be a five o'clock shadow.

Reynolds is actually very smart casting. Not only does he having acting chops, which I realize is a source of debate here, but he was also voted sexiest man alive last year, so they want to capitalize on that. That will help bring in the female audience. Regardless, I think he'll make a great Hal. Lively on the other hand, though she's hot, she seems kinda bland from what they've shown of her.

This is the same poster from before just without the mask and they made the green more neon-like. I preferred the green it was before. This one is more in your face and annoying. Hope they don't change it for the movie, they don't have enough time to so I doubt it.

I'm so excited for this movie though. It's between this and Captain America to be the movie of the summer. So excited! Can not wait!!

Bradley Cooper would have been a terrible choice for Hal Jordan.

@TheIntruder - I think giving human bodies to alien heads seems a little dull. Like Beta Ray Bill. I prefer the way they're doing in the movie.

@PuyGuy, you're what, 7 yr old?

@intruder, my point is that tomar re's head doesn't go well with a human body, imo. Not the case of sinestro and abin sur, who resemble humans. Beta Ray bill was just an example on the same logic, no need to get butthurt.
