Green Lantern Director Martin Cambell has confirmed we will be seeing a trilogy. He says that the first film will be filled with the origins of both Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) and The Green Lantern Corps.

Cambell has already hinted that Sinestro (Mark Strong) and Star Sapphire (Blake Lively) could be future villains.

Where they could take the Green Lantern from there is wide open. Could the Black Lanterns be a possibility?

EDITOR NOTE: This "confirmation" comes from a blog with no verifiable quotes from Campbell, so let's just say it's likely that if Green Lantern does well that more movies will follow and leave it at that.
