This has been a big day as far as Green Lantern collectibles go. DC Direct has unveiled another high quality collectible from a "different" Green Lantern movie.

This hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain maquette of SINESTRO is based on art from the highly anticipated Warner Home Video made-for-DVD animated original movie GREEN LANTERN: EMERALD KNIGHTS which will be released on June 7, 2011.

Measuring approximately 11.6” high x 4.75” wide x 4” deep, the statue is packaged in a 4-color box.

Why is he in his green uniform? For gods sake, lets get some continuity with the previous animated movie. I guess we're in for another origin story or a live action movie tie in considering the release date. They're milking it now.

@rondel you're obviously an idiot because WB has stated already that this ISN'T a direct sequel to First Flight…it's a series if short stories but they've obviously kept the character designs from First Flight!

He looks militant, confident and with a good dash of fascism. This is great! Sinestroooooo! Why the hell would the wise Guardians of the universe give a ring of almost unlimited power to a guy named Sinestro? They must obviously be insane!

@Weneedrevelation That's slightly offensive...that being said it does look a hell of a lot like Freddy Mercury's mustache.
