Hal Jordan And Kilowog Fly Side-By-Side In New Green Lantern Artwork!

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Thanks to the keen eye of CBM's own TheBlackWidow (aka Zarina_Romanoff on Twitter) we now have yet another piece of movie artwork from one of the kids tie-in books featuring Green Lantern and Kilowog flying through space together.

Green Lantern is set to be released in 3D on June 17 later this year, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Mark Strong!

Hopefully, the completed special effects in the movie live up to these concepts. When are they going to release the voice cast for the alien GL's? We've already seen about a dozen of the characters making appearances. I don't think I'd want to be in a boxing match or a bar fight with Kilowog. At least not the receiving end of the bar fight. He'd be a hell of a back up!

Anyways, This movie is on my top CBM list. Thor looks good, but I haven't got that excited for it opposed to GL, which I'm really excited for. :D

True ... I am nervous about Reynolds as Hal and how they're going to work the story. The trailer really got me worried the first time I saw it (just the first 2 scenes). But It's Green Lantern under the watchful eye of Geoff Johns !!! All Will Be Well.

@SuperSayian, Yeah your right but GL is Johns' baby. It has been for years now. I'm sure if there is something that he or the fans arn't too happy with He'll make sure it gets fixed before release ... (fingers crossed). You just never know though, it could be a decent film for the first one and the sequel could just blow us all away. Just like Donner's Superman or the Nolan Batman films. Remember Johns worked with Donner for years so I'm pretty confident in him and this film.

When do fanboys not get worried you saw a mashup of pieces of scenes, they didn't shoot there load like thor which I'm hoping won't end up like ironman 2 and show everything in the trailer "race track scene". If you don't like ryan as hal fine but jordan is a ladies man if you read the latest runs on gl

Why do the childrens stuff have the best art so far?

I find it funny and cool at the same time. Which is awesome. Just like this art.

If no Green Lantern has ever had "humanity" before, doesn't that make them all useless as actors of justice?

I hope that blurb isn't a representation of the movie's plot...god, the first draft of the script where the ring was restarted by a kiss...GAG.

tell me why the suit looks better on the artwork then in the movie.
they need to make the other part of the green a little darker in the movie although i wish it was black like in the comics!

this reminds me of BATMAN FOREVER artworks, where the promotional art works are better than the film itself. they knew its gonna suck that's why they have to compensate tru merchandise. ^_^ STICKERS,COLORING BOOKS kids merchandise is where the money is.
