In a recent interview with MTV News, the actor talked briefly about his role as the voice of Kilowog in upcoming movie, Green Lantern. There's nothing too revealing here, but it's good to know that he's a fan of the character!

"I was a fan of Green Lantern a long time ago, so it was very easy for me to go in there and voice Kilowog."

"He trains all of the Green Lanterns. He's a real type of tough guy who knows everything, and actually in one of the comic books he and Superman fought to a tie. So that's the coolest part about it. Remember that."

With an all star cast which includes Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris and Mark Strong as Sinestro, director Martin Campbell's Green Lantern is set to be released in 3D on June 17, later this year!

That's cool to know. Hopefully he's a better kilowog than he was Kingpin. But then again I didnt mind it too much.

Hell yeah MCD! It's always a bit more comforting when the actors have previous knowledge and actually want to justify the characters as much as possible. As far as I can tell, if this movie fails it wont be because of the acting. The Superman fight reference is nice too.

If there was any doubt left in anyone, Michael c. Duncan totally just OWNED!!! that role all over again!
Already a GL fan, and he knows the character inside out!

Here's a couple of shots of Kilowog doing a good job of standing on Superman's freakin head!

Love the Kryptonian heat-vision just uselessly bouncing off the blazing GL logo.

Micheal Clark Duncan is played out. I'm very bored with him. Maybe I am still mad about Daredevil. IDK. I'll reserve judgment for movie. Love CBMs!

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan weren't in Blade.

MCD should narrate wildlife documentaries.

Oh and British actors outrank almost all others, same with writers & directors.
That's the truth as I see it anyway. Maybe i'm culturally biased.

Leeholland, agreed, X-Men 1 restarted the CBM popularity since Blade wasn't advertised as a CBM or even have the Marvel logo.

I love the fact that they pull out that prior knowledge of the comics. It shows that they actually care about the role, and aren't in it to be in it.

I can't wait to see Tom Hanks show up with an ache in his balls so Kilowog and grab his junk and make the hurt go away. That's what a Green Lantern should do.

These alien life forms look so damn stupid. One looks like a gold fish funked a koala bear. Another looks like a hippo got busy with a silver back gorilla. The rest are nothing more than slightly odd looking human beings with retarded deformities.

Rubbers is pissed today!

Awesome, MCD is perfect for Kilowog.

Regarding Blade vs X-Men for reintroducing the CBM. I
give it to X-Men, Blade was to obscure and fit well into
the average scifi/fantasy niche. X-Men had CBM written
all over it, and succeeded. Gotta love the X-Men, hate
fox.

Ill go wit x-men with that too. I didnt know Blade was even a comic book hero till after I watched the first one and the only way I found out was from watching the spider-man cartoons and Blade was on it. X-men was the bigger name so I say they made CBM's big.
