More Pictures of Ryan Reynolds on the Green Lantern Set

The first image of the Green Lantern movie star sporting a motion capture suit leaked yesterday; today, we have a few more images of Ryan Reynolds gearing up for the superhero role

A few months ago, numerous movie sites reported that Green Lantern star Ryan Reynolds would never actually don the iconic Lantern Corp suit for filming; and instead wear a full-body motion capture suit that will be overlayed with CGI in post production. Skeptics of these reports were silenced yesterday when the first image of the chiseled actor wearing a gray mo-cap suit appeared online.

Today, courtesy of PopSugar, we get another look at Reynolds in the only tangible 'superhero suit' he will wear for the movie:

The site also received this picture at Reynolds arriving at the Green Lantern set in his customary fashion. It appears that the actor, who is an avid motorcycle aficionado, makes sure he has access to one of his bikes where ever he goes:

MPP - It was kind of funny seeing that image of Ryan in the mo-cap suit yesterday. During my brief tenure to the New Orleans movie set, I noticed a man wearing the same suit while being rigged up to stunt wires, but I didn't realize until later that day that it was Reynolds. I guess at the time I was still holding out hope that he would wear an actual Green Lantern suit for filming.

as i said before that man is an adonis. and as a fellow motorcycle aficianado that makes him even more cool. the only problem is he prefers triumphs over harleys. thats my only gripe.

Blacksad- He really doesn't look too good on a bike, does he? He kinda looks like the fat guy in Spin City that called his mo-ped a "hog". The nerd bag and the helmet really aren't helping his cause i guess. Someone get this man a pilot jacket! And for god sakes throw the helmet and bag in the damn trash!!! He's making Tom Cruise and Charlie Sheen look good LOL :P

@Blackout-The suit is all CG. We won't see it in set pics. Only after they render it in the computer.

@Shaman- Very funny. I just hope they are not trying to make of Hal Jordan a Peter Parker. And hoping for a great CG Green Lantern costume.

It says that he's arriving on set in a motorcycle. He probably won't have it in the movie.

I think thats just what Reynolds is using to get to work.... It says right above the pic He is arriving to the set not hes on set with the bike. Im all down for an all cgi suit since they want it to look unlike any material on earth. Wouldnt making an actual suit for him to wear contradict what there trying to do with the suit?

Indeed. He is apparently unlike other actors being himself and not allowing the pressure of media hounds and over zealous fans (hint, hint) while making films.

I'm a Victory motorcycle person myself. Harleys are like other brands these days you pay for the name at best. :P

Besides, I'm sure he can ring up and bad ass bike as GL when the time comes, lol!

I'm giving this CG thing a shot and see what happens.

Nice photos dude!

They should do all cbm costumes like this then we wouldnt always hear how hard it was to do . Like thor and iron man maybe their acting can be a little bit better if they arent so uncomfortable .

I think the GL 'stume is gonna look great. If not, well, they will have learned their lesson for the sequels.

Yeah well NOT JUST BECAUSE he is wearing the Mo-Suit right now, MEANS THAT THERE WON´T BE an actual Fabric-based Costume-

.- RDJ wore the Mo-suit a lot, but THERE ALSO WAS AN ACTUAL IM suit (and a WM one as well)

--yeah they look big and hell uncomfortable (like the party scene and specially when Rhodey lands at the military base, man he looks STIFF!! lol! )
Really

What I find hilarious is everyone that's been downing the idea of a CG suit when Iron Man is totally, 100% CG, mask right down to the boots, and everyone is fine with that! I think it would be best to judge it when WB releases an actual image of Reynold's in the suit, then you could throw all the rocks you want.

Lets thinks about it guys the reason for that suit and to make it CGI is so it can to this ..... ;-)
