Previously Unseen Green Lantern TV Spot Released!

A new TV spot for the highly anticipated movie from Warner Bros. features what may or may not be a few snippets of unseen footage, but is still pretty good regardless...

Hal Jordan is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

I must have watched the following TV spot at least a dozen times and am sure that there are at least a few extremely brief new shots featured within. Take a look and see what you think, but either way, it's still a pretty exciting cut of the footage we've seen in the past.

With an all star cast which includes Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris and Mark Strong as Sinestro, director Martin Campbell's Green Lantern is set to be released in 3D on June 17, later this year!

Awesome but no new footage. I've been through it a couple of times and there is no new scenes. It seems to me that it's just a variation of the 4 minute WC footage. Sorry JoshW.

Yeah, I've taken another look and while I'm still convinced there might be something new in there somewhere, lol, I've now changed the headline and teaser to reflect the fact there probably isn't! Regardless, it's a great cut of the footage IMO. Thanks for the help guys. :)

While I'm not a GL or even a DC fan, I did see this on tv last night and I was impressed with how good it looks. I probably still won't see it at the theater though. Between mine and my wife's work schedule as well as finding a babysitter for the little one, I'll only be able to see Thor and Cap and have to wait for everything else to hit dvd at Redbox.

well for those that havent seen the 4 minute footage from KAPOW ( which would be most of the world unless they go to KAPOW) then yes it is all pretty much new.

Cant wait to see what kinds of easter eggs are in this film if any. Still hoping for something.

I'm a bigger fan of the Marvel Universe than DC, but I have a hunch this movie is gonna be the most successful of the 4 CBM's set to release this summer. All of the whining about the CG suit is a little silly. No one seems to say anything about the pre-serum Steve Rogers footage.
