Well deserved to Geoff Johns.
To say that Green Lantern is the most anticipated movie of 2011 is simply not right. Its actually demeaning to the movie. Green Lantern is simply the single most anticipated comicbook movie in over 15 years.
It will be absolutely great. It gonna be one hell of a comicbook movie, putting all its contemporaries to shame.
Everything about Green Lantern is so perfect that it makes Eddie Murphy seem intelligent.
I also wonder if that is the Green Lantern theme! Its one hell of a piece!

Anyway, its gonna be emerald green in 2011! CANT WAIT!!!!

as much im supporting the Green Lantern movie its not the Most Anticipated Movie right now its still under the radar. Thor has more hype right now cause of the trailer and its not even mention.

I think everyone expects DC movies to be better after the last 2 Batman movies...I really hope this does well but I cant help but get a Batman and Robin feel to all the music and marketing behind this.

well Green Lantern does have a behind the scene clip but apart from that no trailer.

Tron has more hype right now compare to GL. im hurt to say this but Twilight saga is the "Most Anticipated Movie" compare to GL LMAO. if GL fail WB going to get a major backlash.

I can't tell if you're kidding or not. Both are quality companies that make some good comics and have great characters, but if you get right down to it marvel outsells DC in everything. So nice try.
And in no way is this legit. Just skim over the 2 other majorly anticipated comic book movies coming out next summer but include 'cowboys and aliens' why don't ya...?

yea yea all can hate but its true GREEN LANTERN WILL OWN 2011 rides,food,toys,new cartoon series,straight to DVD movie,shoes ,clothing , top selling comics and much more i think it has more media coverage then cap and Thor but either way i am still gonna watch Thor and cap but i still think Green Lantern is going to be the best of the three but hope all three are good

I have been waiting for this movie longer then any other comic book movie since I kid. Hal Jordan has always been my favorite with Batman coming in 2nd.

These people are just mad because since Geoff Johns brought back Hal Jordan GL comics have out sold Thor and Captain America ones.

No...people aren't 'mad' about that, GL sales have nothing to do with what's happening here. We could care less if GL is outselling even Marvel's top titles (which it's definitely not, by the way). We're simply pointing out that this isn't an award, it's a cheap advertising ploy.

yup you need to see your sell charts GL, GLC and GL:EW at the top and how do you know its just an advertising ploy only you got proof dont be mad GL is on top but dont worry thor will be good to

Go to diamondcomics.com and look at the industry statistics and see that marvel has taken the number one sold comic spot 5 out of the 9 months this year, beating DC. Then go look at the total market shares and see that marvel, month in and month out, year after year, continually outsells DC.
