Carrie Farris Actress Would Love To Appear In GREEN LANTERN CORPS

With all the Lanterns in 2020's Green Lantern Corps. movie, is there room for Star Sapphire? For that matter is Christina Wren's character in the DCEU, Carrie Farris, really a version of Carol Ferris?

Actress Christina Wren reprises her role as Carrie Farris in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice but will the actress have an expanded role in the Green Lantern Corps. movie? The film is thought to focus on both Hal Jordan and John Stewart and could also feature Kyle Rayner, Guy Gardner and Simon Baz as well.  With a film that will already contain so many Green Lanterns, is there room for Carrie Farris? For that matter, is Carrie Farris really a variation on Carol Ferris? There's definitely some similarities between the two characters besides their names, with Carrie working for the Air Force and Carol heading up Ferris Aircraft.  It's also possible that Carrie's simply a sister or cousin and she's a setup to introduce audiences to the real Carol.  It sounds as if nothing has been confirmed as of yet but filming on Green Lantern Corps.  is actually not too far off.

"Yes! Yes!  Like, absolutely! I mean, super-huge fan. Would die to be a superhero. My whole childhood growing up, I wanted to be a superhero and we didn’t really have the female superheroes who were in the limelight at the time….To get to grow up and do that would be really a dream come true, but I’m waiting as much as anyone else."

For those doubting that Wren is playing a version of Carol Ferris, consider WB's casting of Ray Fisher as Cyborg.  Fisher was a virtual unknown who will be thrust into a starring role in Justice League and will also have his own solo film.  Also consider,  Daisy Ridley's casting as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility for an unknown to land a major, starring role in a blockbuster film.

I don't understand why it's Carrie and not Carol. Meh. Small thing.

@MattBellissimo - Because she's not Carol Ferris. She's probably named after a friend of David Goyer.

to be honest if the reviews are right i'm pretty sad that the editing and pacing problems in Bvs despite the delay of the premiere are still there.

@jerryblake - It's not a trainwreck by any means...as much as some might want it to be.

@MattBellissimo - not a trainwreck but if the movie will end up being medicore for me ... well then ... in my mind i often play a game after watching medicore/terrible movies called "how could they not notice that ?"

@jerryblake - I'm playing that game tonight with my second viewing.

@jerryblake - 5.5 out of 10. As i said in a few threads, it hurt me to give it that score.

@MattBellissimo - no it's ok. i believe that the movie is disappointment for now but still gonna watch it anyway. guess it will be fun to play "how could they not notice that ?" one more time. mostly i do that during watching movie and also after that. some issues in movies are so repetitive you can see it right away ... (like CGi overblow in Gods of Egypt - a problem you can notice in many other movies too - like Clash of the Titans if my memory is correct)

@jerryblake - I go 8/10. I do typically like the darker movies. In another thread I do state I much prefer AOU due to its not so happy ending over Avengers. I like Empire best of all the Star Wars. I rate the TDK trilogy as the best of all cbms. I will contend its not for everyone. I think Rotten Tomatoes is way off base. It is nowhere near as bad as the abysmal IM2 or 3, Thor 2, Catwoman, Batman and Robin, Superman 3 and 4, I do have a soft spot for Superman 3 based on my childhood.

I think the problem with the reviewers is they expected to walk out as happy as they did when they walked out of GOTG or Antman, but you will walk out with the same emotion as you did after Watchmen or Dark Knight. No way am I saying its as good as Dark Knight. Merely pointing out none of these movies have happy joyful endings.

@sixthsense - You're right, nothing did happen in a 2 and a half movi- well I guess it's not much of a movie but more like a shitty trailer (or threat) of a Justice League movie that Snyder is going to probably get fired from.

"Do you want to be in a staring role in a DC Super Hero movie?"
"Yes"
"Will you get half naked on screen?"
"Nope."
"Thank you for your time, we'll give your agent a call."

Man WB needs to dig into their other properties for directors like Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes.

I'd love to see a CBM directed by David Yates, Christopher Columbus and Guy Richie
