Al Pacino Confirms That He's Met With Kevin Feige; Teases Upcoming MARVEL Role
Al Pacino made headlines earlier this year when he went on record to praise Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, the legendary actor has revealed that he's met with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, and it sounds like they're lining up a role for him. Read on for details...
"I've met with the Marvel guy. It's a Marvel how things happen [Laughs]," Al Pacino tells Josh Horowitz on the latest instalment of his Happy Sad Confused podcast. The actor then goes on to praise Guardians of the Galaxy (you can find this part of the conversation at roughly the 22:00 mark) before being asked if the "Marvel guy" is in fact Kevin Feige. "Yeah. I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me and if I feel-" and before he can finish his thought, the phone rings and Pacino jokes that it's Feige calling to stop him from saying anything more. Infuriating! Still, it sounds like Marvel are lining up a role for the actor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so we're just going to have to wait and see what that ends up being. Thoughts?
