Even though Chris Pratt was known and loved by many for his role as Agent Burt Macklin a.k.a. Andy Dwyer on NBC's hit series Parks and Recreation, arguably the best comedy on television, Pratt more or less became an overnight sensation following the release of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which climbed its way up the ladder to become the highest grossing CBM of 2014. His star will continue to grow next year as he leads an even bigger film, Universal's Jurassic World.
He's currently in the midst of shooting the final season of Parks and Recreation, which will wrap up in mid-December. While attending a press event for the final season, Zap2it asked Pratt, that with his schedule clearing up, whether or not he'd be up for an appearance on the second season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., he replied: "I wouldn't rule it out. Marvel would have to decide, but if it made sense for the brand and for the story, yeah sure."
While the possibility of him appearing is exciting, it is still highly unlikely he actually does so considering where the MCU is heading based on Phase 3 announcements and the fact that his character Star-Lord is currently in an entirely different galaxy. Pratt joins Robert Downey Jr. and Jeremy Renner as Marvel film actors who've said they'd be open to appearing on the ABC show.
What do you guys think? Would you like Star-Lord to make an appearance to update his mixtape? It'd certainly help boost the ratings.. Or would you rather Marvel keep their film and television shows separate? Sound off with your thoughts below!
