Though I've seen a behind the scenes shot of Thanos, not sure about it yet, will have to see him in the movie to fully judge...

This is the most odd film to judge... not sure whether it will get a good response or not. Feel their is a lot of hype over the idea of the characters but not sure it can sustain a movie.

Need to see more to decide my thoughts on it. Will definitely be watching it though considering it looks like a visual treat - though I hope Thanos actually does stuff in this film because he needs to start getting the Infinity Stones.

He'll probably;
- Get the spherical infinity Stone in this film
- Kill the Collector for the Aether
- Attack Asgard for the Infinity Gauntlet and the Tesseract
- One of the infinity stones is likely in Loki's sceptre
- I'm guessing Doctor Strange will have the final fifth stone

MS needs to show Thanos' power in this movie. Even if its only 1 scene they really need to express why he's such a threat to GOTG and Earth alike.

I enjoy the Art of the Avengers book think I'll pick this up considering how excited I am about this movie.

I'm nervous that Thanos will look crap though, considering we've only really seen his face which yes looked great and he's one of the most identical characters to his counterpart so far but I'm worried we'll get a full look at him and the rest of him will be disappointing

@Batz

This is how Thanos looks in the prelude comic so I'm just gonna assume he looks like that in GotG.

When I was a kid in France I read the original "Guardian of the galaxy" comics with Vance Astro, Martinex, etc... Why not choosing the original characters instead? They looked much better, had great costumes and more interesting too. This movie looks like it's gonna suck, even the original look of Drax the destroyer was better in the 70's...

@AA, yeah, that's a cool pic, sure he'll be similar, interesting they're going full cgi, glad, he'll be BIG!

@MwM, ok, cheap shot, I'm still reeling from the game 1 loss...love NHL playoff hockey, but it gets ridiculous, games tied or won in the last few seconds...great when you're on the 'good' side of that though...oh, how is your squad doing in the playoffs? ;)

@Nom, yeah, lady Death has her hands-full, I'd tap her, haha...

@JossWeedonme

Kevin Feige and James Gunn confirmed that Thanos will be in GoTG. Feige also said that we'll get more than just a turn and smile than what we got in Avengers.

Gunn said that Thanos will be completely CG with somebody doing mo-cap. Seems they're keeping the actors role a secret to surprise us. Gunn also said that GoTG is connected to Avengers 3.
