From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close and Benicio del Toro, Guardians of the Galaxy is set to be released on August 1st.

i like that they are showing the action and visuals more..getting some insight into the characters but not giving away the story..save the character moments and drama of which i think they will have ,for the film

"[frick] you Bay, this is how to make a movie"
Considering bay is the producer and not the director thats a stupid claim to make. And you can only say "this is how to make a movie" when you've actually seen the damn thing

@Mrcool210 - "Considering bay is the producer and not the director thats a stupid claim to make."

The producer and not the director on what? I am talking about the Transformers. What are you talking about?
True I don't know how good it will be, but I do know how bad it won't be. At least not as bad as Transformers.

Not bad but the trailer for GOTG in front of "Edge of tomorrow" is sooooooo much better!

@MrSuperheromoviefan -- I assume he thought you were referring to the upcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Bay is only credited as a producer on that film. Trailers and images of TMNT have been released lately, with its theatrical release coming just prior to GOTG. I'm with you on the central point of your post, however. GOTG looks to me like the most exciting movie of the summer. I thought X-Men: DOFP was truly excellent, Godzilla was very good as well, and I even enjoyed Maleficent, but I expect GOTG to be the stand-out of the summer season.

@MrSuperheromoviefan
Im talking about TMNT. That film does come out around the same time. And Bay is the producer on that. I thought you were talking about those films.
