Guardians of the Galaxy is a 2014 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the tenth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is directed by James Gunn, who wrote the screenplay with Nicole Perlman, and features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Benicio del Toro. In Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill forms an uneasy alliance with a group of extraterrestrial misfits who are on the run after stealing a coveted orb.

I didn't mean to seem like a hater, lol. It's just weird to to see people downplay the "Best movie of the year" quotes, but prop up the "It was kinda enjoyable" quotes from Turtles.

BTW, I grew up as TMNT as my favorite cartoon EVER. X-Men animated was a close second

Oh yeah I see what you were saying there. I really enjoyed Guardians. Rocket had me laughing up a Storm, I started to feel odd as if I was the only one catching onto his jokes until the rest of the audience eventually caught on. ZZzZZzz lol but yeah man, I hope the Turtles deliver just as much as fun Guardians did. I actually had them both rivaled against one another on a small collage I made. But other than that I've pretty much enjoyed all CBM's that released this summer.

This was definitely one of my favorites of the year, completely blew me away. It kinda sucks that we have to wait 3 years to see these guys again :/

TBH, I would be more hyped for Turtles if Michael Bay wasn't involved at all. I know that he is a magnet for hate, but he is one of the few people I see in the media that I feel deserves it, lol.

I think so far this has been the best year for CBM's since 2008. In that I thought every CBM we got was good to AMAZING. GOTG is certainly in my top 5 right now as are Cap2 and X-Men. Now how well they may stand within the next 4 months (being plenty of hard hitting dramas such as Gone Girl) is hard to say but I'm sure at the very least they'll be in my top 10. Years like this make me proud for this industry.

The cinetography in GotG is one of the best I seen all this year..... Especially that shot of Starlord saving Gamora in space

Avengers age of a Ultron will be good if not better...... But for A2 everything looks dark, cold, less color,
