Before starting work on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, James Gunn penned upcoming horror movie The Belko Experiment. Featuring a talented ensemble made up of names like John Gallager Jr., John C. McGinley, David Dastmalchian and regular Gunn collaborators Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn and Gregg Henry, the premise is extremely intriguing, and now the first trailer teaser has found its way online.

Gunn returning to his horror roots is definitely exciting, while the fact it will be helmed by Wolf Creek's Greg McLean is a definite plus. Unfortunately, The Belko Experiment received mixed reviews followings its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, so who knows how it will turn out! With a release date of March 17th, 2017 now set, we thankfully don't have to wait too long to find out!

It at first seems to be an ordinary morning on the job for a group of Americans working for a not-for-profit in a modern office building in Colombia. After noticing that their Colombian colleagues have not arrived for work, office worker Mike (John Gallagher, Jr.) spots some unfamiliar security guards entering a large hangar nearby. Moments later, an icy voice comes over the building’s PA system and calmly explains that the employees must kill a certain number of their co-workers — if not, they will be killed themselves. While the boss (Tony Goldwyn) tries to calm the troops, Mike belatedly realizes that something truly sinister is going on — and when metal doors come sliding down on all the building’s exits and windows, it becomes clear that friends and colleagues are now suddenly enemies in a bloody and brutal battle to the death.

I WANT THIS. Frank hates all scum but I feel Like Turk is someone he can use to keep tabs on the criminal underworld in a way that's different than how Matt does it. Matt will beat up Turk for info and always turn him in. I feel like Frank would make a proposition to Turk.

Frank: "To be honest, I'm itching to put a bullet in you, but I'm smart enough to realize the opportunities of using a piece of shit like you."

Turk: "No need for the rude shit man, come on Frank."

Frank: "You're gonna be my informant plain and simple."

Turk: "Turk Barrett aint no snitch."

Frank: "How does stool pigeon sound? Scum like you doesn't last this long without turning on some people. Opposing option is a hollow point to the head."
