In April of 2015, Telltale announced the developing of a game using the Marvel license, set to debut in the year 2017. Well it seems production is underway, and the identity of the game has revealed itself.

As part of a recent strike by members of SAG-AFTRA, a voice acting union, as part of a tactic to negotiate better wages across the industry, the ogranization released a list of games that currently did not have struck new deals. Among the list is a game titled Guardians Of The Galaxy- The Video Game aka Blue Harvest, attributed to "O'Farrel Enterprises, LLC". The same company is listed below the Guardians entry as also developing the third season of one of Telltale's largest franchises, The Walking Dead.

What do you guys think? Do you think that the Guardians of the Galaxy is a good pick for a Telltale adaptation? Were you hoping for or expecting another one? How do you feel this will compare to Telltale's other games? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

@StarlordsDad - see this is why i'm having an increasingly hard time taking IGN's reviews seriously, even though i do enjoy that site.

Finally Marvel will get a good game for once.

Though I will trade this for Wolf Among Us Season 2 in a heart beat.

@FishyZombie - Every time I see a Telltale Game I think of Wolf Among Us and I get anxious because I want season 2 DAMMIT!!!

Now that Hugh Jackman is done with Wolverine. I want his ass to play Bigby Wolf in the movie adaptation.

@Jokester - I doubt they'll make the movie based on the game rather than the comic lol
Jokester

@Kevwebsz - The game is cannon in the comics now.

I want them to make a Fables movies for god sake.

Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them is a good template to prove it would work successfully.

A world of Noir Crime story with Fairy tales characters OMG SIGN MY ASS UP!!!!

Fables is such a good story with so much potential.

@Jokester - l agree, this is the one game l really want to see getting a sequel.
BlackIceJoe
BlackIceJoe - 11/12/2016, 9:13 PM
@Jokester - l thought Dan Stevens would have been great, but seeing as he is Beast in Beauty and the Beast that won't happen.

With how big comic book shows have been I'm honestly surprised HBO hasn't tried to make Fables into a show.

Speaking of games, if I was to name my Top 3 wish list for Superhero games to come out on a console not mobile it would be:

Superman,
A New X-Men
Avenger / Justice League

I would also throw in there, A Path of Neo remake and a Star Wars game where you play through the original trilogy reliving all the classic moments.

Wish Marvel would go all out and give us an epic RPG game. Just like Batman and the new Spiderman coming out. It would be so good, and really bring them up to speed with Movies, shows. Do that and upgrade the animation shows/movies and Marvel would be ridiculous.

@Menks123 -
"RPG game. Just like Batman"

Menks123 - 11/12/2016, 7:38 PM
@Kevwebsz - It's an action adventure game. Poorly written sentence on my part. I mean to say I want them to go all out making an RPG kind of game with their characters. Want their games to be on the Batman Arkham series quality.

@Menks123 - Yeah, I'm hoping the new Spidey game is good and well received and leads to more good Marvel games.

Looking forward to this (though I was hoping it would be Avengers-related). Still haven't played the Telltale Batman game but I've heard good things.

A GOTG game by Telltale does not sound appealing to me.
