Promotion for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has kicked up a few notches as we draw closer to the sequel's release next month, and we've rounded up some of the latest news here.

Director James Gunn has been debuting new behind-the-scenes snaps from the film over the past few days, and we have the most recent 2 below. In addition, Stitch Kingdom has shared a few hi-res stills. Some we've seen previously in lower quality, but there are a few new ones, too.

And finally, GOTG Vol. 2 has received an official PG-13 rating for "sequences of sci-fi action and violence, language, and brief suggestive content." Maybe we'll finally get that R-rated Marvel flick next year guys.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to hit theaters on May 5th.

There's a small part of me that wishes Gunn could make these R-rated so we could get another scene like this.
