From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. James Gunn is the director and the story is by Nicole Perlman and James Gunn, with screenplay by James Gunn. It releases in U.S. theaters on August 1, 2014.

Funny, they never once thought of going with her first design with longer hair. It's like they thought the bald look would be more menacing lol

Karen Gillan is a good actor and was underused. Hope they use her more in sequel

I thought Nebula's design was awesome.... if the story follows her transformation in the comics, I can't imagine what she'll look like in future movies.... I hope we see more of Nebula and Karen Gillan

I prefer the movie version over these, cool stuff none-the-less...Gunn said we'll get a lot more Nebula in the sequel, that's good news, I thought she was one sexy and menacing villain...but Gunn also said, he doesn't believe she's "all" evil, so maybe a redemption story...I'd be cool with that...

Really glad they went with the bald look.
It's a look rarely seen on a female character, in well, movies in general let alone CBM's.
Nebula was so bad-ass! But she was kinda wasted. So excited to see what the future holds for her! I hope she pops up in other CBM's and not just in Avengers 3

I was wondering if anyone could answer this question. Why were there so many humans on xandar? why are there humans in space at all? Was this some kind of future? but we just didnt know it? I know they were supposed to be xandarians but they are pink and we had plenty of those. I just want to know if anyone saw a reason for all the humans? and the fact that these aliens knew all the human cuss words lingo I know they didnt have earth culture(because of the kevin bacon references) But how was the other side of the galaxy so.. human?
