VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN
James McAvoy is Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley’s classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man—and the legend—we know today.

Release Date: October 2, 2015

Chronicle screenwriter Max Landis penned the script for Victor Frankenstein and is being directed by Paul McGuigan ("Sherlock"). Besides Radcliffe as Igor and McAvoy as Victor Von Frankenstein, actress Jessica Brown Findlay ("Downton Abbey") is the other lead. She plays "the object of Igor’s affection."

I hope it's good, but it seems to me they've tried this sort of thing before with Julia Roberts and John Malkovich in Mary Reilly. Remember that one? Didn't think so.

A twist on the Frankenstein story hmm? Like the twist on Jekel & Hyde called Mary Reilly which starred Julia Roberts?? Meh.
Too soon for "Frankenstein" in another movie title. I'm still ROFL AT Aaron Eckhart's lame "I, Frankenstein". And oh boy here we go again with Mr. Emo himself Prof. James McXavier. He may have found his niche, now he'll be an emo mad scientist instead of an emo paralyzed telepath.

"Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley’s classic 19th century novel."

Must be a big freaking twist on the novel, being that the main character (Igor) isn't even in the novel.

I hope Radcliffe shines in this. He needs to step out of the shadows of Harry Potter.
