All Hallows' Eve is fast approaching, and with it comes the return of one of the most iconic horror bogeymen of all time in the follow-up to David Gordon Green's 2018 revival, Halloween Kills.

Michael Myers may have survived the fiery conclusion of the last movie, but this time, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) will be going on the offensive in an attempt to lay "The Shape" to rest for good.

We know they will have plenty of backup, but will even the entire town of Haddonfield be enough to stop the masked maniac's murderous rampage?

Universal has now debuted a new featurette and some character posters which spotlight the three generations of Strode women who'll be standing in Michael Myers' way when he finds his way home.

Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight.

Halloween Kills slices its way into theaters this October.

eh, for a Halloween trilogy, think ill stick to
Halloween
Halloween 2
Halloween H2O

Really why is Michael going after Laurie, if there is no connection between them in the last movie. Original movie, it was just a random attack.

@dracula

He isn’t going after her in this movie, the town is going after Michael.

From what I understand Laurie doesn’t play a big role in this movie.

@dracula - I'm actually a fan of the idea of Michael living rent free in Laurie's head for the last 40 years and when he does escape shes not even his focuse. I do think by the end of Halloween 2018 with Michael staring up at Laurie while he's trapped it's pretty obvious that shes got his attention now.

@dracula

I wasn’t a fan of how they brought Michael to Laurie. That seemed to be the reason they brought in the new Loomis, if nothing other then to bring them back face to face. And he was the worst character in the last one.

@dracula - He wasn't going after her in the previous movie until his doctor drove him to her house and pretty much dumped him on her lawn to create a reunion. Up until then he just murdered random people he came across.

@TyrantBossMedia - A lot of unstable people get married. We have no idea what her husbands were like.

I can't wait this is my most anticipated film for the rest of the year. I'm really interested to see where the story goes after this. From everything David Gordon Green has said it sounds like Halloween Ends is going to be more withdrawn then kills.

Not that i wished they would focus on it especially or anything, but wish they didn’t retcon him being her brother. Just makes it feel kinda random.
