Stephen King adaptations have had mixed fortunes in the past but between The Dark Tower and It, that could be about to change. However, fans of the books will need to accept that some changes are being made to the source material as Entertainment Weekly reveals that Bill Denbrough's little brother Georgie no longer just loses an arm when he crosses paths with Pennywise the Clown; he vanishes!

That's obviously going to change Stuttering Bill and his fellow "Losers" mission in a big way as it's now a quest to find his brother rather than just getting simple revenge on the monster that lurks beneath Derry, Maine. Eventually, they'll meet the villainous clown in what sounds like a truly terrifying finale.

"The final confrontation happens in the lair where Pennywise lives, a big cistern, a circular space that resembles a cooling tower," director Andres Muschietti says. So, while Bill may find what he's looking for, he could just regret it! Here are some brand new stills from the movie along with some concept art:
