New Dialogue Heavy TV Spot For GODZILLA Features Another Glimpse At The Monster

The latest TV spot for Gareth Edwards' (Monsters) Godzilla features a lot more dialogue alongside some familiar action scenes, but culminates with yet another look at the gigantic monster as he towers over an impressive cast which includes Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen.

An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

 

Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Inception), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Cosmopolis), and Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck., The Bourne Legacy) and Bryan Cranston (Argo, TV's Breaking Bad).

Old school, and atmospheric.
I'm glad they're taking this movie seriously.
I'm curious how the MUTO monster is gonna fair up against Big 'G'.

Does anybody think there will be a third version of the MUTO monster in the movie?
There's the insectoid ground one, then the flying one.
My gut tells me there might be one more

1. the flying muto
2. the cloverfield like muto
3. the muto from the leaked comic con trailer that was dead on his back had multiple legs

I can dig that. It's just good that Godzilla will be fighting other monsters in this flick.
This looks like it's influenced by Godzilla 1985.
A buddy of mine went to a con where they screened more footage,
and he said that's vibe he got from it.

I've been getting a Godzilla 1985 vibe from this too. That's a good thing in terms of tone. But does every advertisement for this movie have to have that pinging sound?

This and/or GOTG will probably tie-in for my favorite movie this summer.

I'll catch this the following weekend it comes out, so I can catch this & DOFP the same weekend.
