Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of our greatest President, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the blood-thirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter stars Benjamin Walker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rufus Sewell, Jimmi Simpson, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, and will be released on June 22, 2012.

The book was a bit on the boring side, but I'm curious to see where they go with it.

This movie sounds kind of silly, but I may see this movie. Tim Burton's made a couple good flicks over the years. But I'm more looking forward to Spielberg's Lincoln w/ Daniel Day-Lewis.

What happen to Detroit is similar to what happen to the Saints last year. No running game. Rb's are hurt. Detroit is just a couple of healthy RB's away from being an outstanding team. Two good RB's and some discipline will go a long way on that team who weall know has talent. Good luck next year. I hope ya'll overcome the cheeseheads.

@Mystery

Technically speaking, "real" vampires were already brought back with the Fright Night remake.

Another technically speaking, a vampire who burns and die in sunlight would be conciderably a bigger pussy than the sparkling sunlight; seriously, sun radiation will kill you and thats it? At least give them an Aquaman effect to sunlight instead, then I change my opinion.

One more technically speaking, to that whole sunlight weakness thing . . . Slayer from Guilty Gear literally made fun of that weakness stating how real badass vampire are merely amused; he should know cause he IS a badass vampire (than again, anything from Guilty Gear is automatically badass just by existing).

Is it me, or does Abraham Lincoln look just like Slayer without the monical?

In short, the best fighting game that really does deserve more attention. I am pretty much working on a fancast for the series seeing that I think the game would make a great movie by the way it sets up the story.

I hope all these Lincoln movies are historically accurate in what Linocln sounds like. He never had a deep booming voice, in fact it was high pitched and rather shrill at time. He used it to his advantage quite a bit because it carried so well when he gave speeches.
