UNDERWORLD AWAKENING brings a stunning new dimension to the epic battle between Vampires and Lycans, as the first film in the franchise to shoot in 3D.

Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

Yeah that would be lame if he is not there, and if not there better be a DAMN GOOD explanation. What I'm really concerned with is if they're gonna keep her super-powered with Alexanders's blood running through her or if they're just gonna semi-forget that and bring her down to regular levels and completely say "F U" to part II?

...i don't know why people dogging the underworld movies. i totally preferred the vampires and werewolves in all of the underworld movies over those in the twilight franchise. glittery bitches...

They are not the best movies out there but at least they give justice for Vampires and Werewolves.
The cast has been pretty good too. Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Michael Sheen, Derek Jacobi, Tony Curran and Bill Nighy.

I cannot wait until this movie is released. I am usually edgy about sequels mainly because the "sequels" are not "actual sequels" but just an entirely new movie with a fancy title, and or the movie gets rebooted a lot. I can understand that SOME movies need a reboot done because the franchise didn't do well, and the company needs to get people interested in that particular movie. Underworld is a franchise that definitely describes how franchises should stick to the source material and incorporate ideas into the movies but DON"T deviate from them.

I'm tired of people bashing this series. It's better than a lot of the crap that you guys like! TDK was absolute shite compared to the first and third Underworld films!

I actually like the Underworld films, haven't seen Rise of the Lycans yet, but will check it out when the chance shows. I mean theyre not Oscar-worthy masterpiece holy grails, but theyre pretty good. :-)

BTW. Kate Beckinsale is one foxy mama. Really wish she was Black Widow instead of SJ.
