Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer's Pet Sematary has finally arrived on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. The combo pack includes a wide variety of special features for fans of the latest Stephen King adaptation to hit the silver screen, including a number of deleted and extended scenes as well as a terrifying alternate ending, which is actually considerably more faithful to the source material and should entirely change how you view the film as a whole.

The horror remake, which featured a star cast of Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Amy Seimetz (Alien: Covenant), Jeté Laurence (Gotham; Jessica Jones), Hugo & Lucas Lavoie and John Lithgow (The Accountant), was a pretty solid hit for Paramount Pictures earlier this year, grossing over $112.3 million ($54.7M domestic; $57.6M foreign) worldwide on an estimated $21 million production budget.

While this wasn’t dark tower bad it wasn’t near IT level great. Unfortunately it didn’t do anything to juice up the Stephen King Film Renaissance...but fortunately it didn’t kill it either.

I really didn't care much for the remake. It could have been better.
