“We came! We saw! We kicked its ass!” - Original Ghostbusters star Bill Murray was recently spotted arriving in the great city of Boston, MA where the new Paul Feig-directed reboot (sequel?) is currently shooting. Could he be gearing up to shoot a special cameo? Come check it out!

Ray… pretend for a moment that I don’t know anything about metallurgy, engineering, or physics — and just tell me what the hell is going on?

Late Friday night, Bill Murray was spotted arriving in Boston, Massachusetts, where coincidentally the new Paul Feig-directed Ghostbusters reboot is currently shooting. Are these two events related? It would appear so as on Saturday, Murray, who starred as Dr. Peter Venkman in the original 1984 classic and its sequel, was spotted on his way to the Ghostbusters set to reportedly film a cameo.

UPDATE: It's been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter that Murray will indeed appear in the film.

Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
