"Mark's one of my favorite actors and a very good pal of mine," Norton told MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival. "We've already been laughing about it."

"John Curran, who directed 'Stone,' is a friend of ours — because we've both done movies with him," he added, joking that he and Ruffalo are hoping for a chance to make an ensemble film starring everyone who has played Bruce Banner in the past.

"We could get Lou Ferrigno, Eric Bana, me and Ruffalo!" he laughed.

"All good things," he said when asked if he has any hard feeling towards Marvel Studios replacing him with another actor who he just so happens to be friends with. "No... No bad feelings on that."

Yeah... fkn skinheads suck for everyone. I've had my share of run ins with them. Being an italian (grease ball as they put it) and a long hair at the time... Let's just say no one is ever really white enough. HahaH. Not to mention all those guys are pussies when it's not 5 on 1, but I guess that goes without saying.

Glad to see Norton has added a bit of humor to the topic. Now all we have to do is stop asking about it.

I have to chuckle that just because Norton is being careful with what he says, he is considered a "classy" guy. His ego and narcism is what caused him to lose the part. He's doing damage control after the fact to save face. I felt that he was alright as Banner, but nothing special like some of his other roles. I wish the media and people would just move on and leave it alone now.

Actors like Norton are light years few and far between, I sure hope Marvel one day realizes just who they had. He was worth the extra money, and then some.

He seems to be taking it a lot better than the fans, and he's the one who's out a bunch of money.

@patriautism: I HATE Superman but I think that he'd be a great Zod. Also: "American History X" IS an amazing movie. I'm not Jewish or black, but that movie is one of the most intense movies that I've EVER seen. "BITE THE CURB!"

Well said Ranger14! :) I agree with every point you make. His ego cost him this role and now he's just trying to make it look as if he's a "cool" guy who is happy with their decision. The fact is, he wanted to dominate what Marvel Studios did with the character and they quite rightfully told him to [frick] off. Ruffalo FTW!

Edward Norton was a great actor, but he peaked early. Your groupie obsession with Norton doesn't change the fact that his performance as Banner was mediocre at best. And the rest of the cast in TIdisappointment was bloodless and sometimes absolutely horrible (Liv Tyler please stop "acting") If you want to call Ang Lee's movie crap, not only are you wrong, but you obviously must be French. Leterrier is a hack!! Norton mailed it in, and The Avengers will be much better off without him.

Now, much like yours, this is only an opinion. It carries as much merit as yours, it is also equally as full of shit.

Don't be so serious about everything. Have some fun dude. ;)

Let's look at the facts. Norton had to beg the fans to petition for him to get the part when he realized he wasn't going to get it again. A couple/few months later it is announced no Norton. He already knew he blew it, but it takes an ego to ask your fans to do your dirty work for you. He and his agent couldn't do anything because his reputation was already tarnished. So...let's grovel to the fans. Solid actor...yes. Difficult to work with...pretty much common knowledge throughout the industry. They didn't need an ego like that being a cancer in the Avengers movie.

That's an opinion, and it's worth just about the same as everyone else's. Maybe a little less in your case. HAhAHAhaH It's funny how you say the "anti-norton" people need to chill out. You guys are the one's acting like Marvel will never do anything good again because Edward Norton isn't gonna be the Hulk anymore. OH NO!! HAhAHahH I won't waste the time with the whole debate Lee v. LL, because it would be just that. If you want to continue stroking Ed Norton for his PAST excellence, be my guest. The guy has made several poor films since his AHX/FightClub days, which was a decade ago by the way. He's still a good actor, but his choices haven't been winners for a while. TIH was a human puppet show, but with less emotion. There was so many wooden performances in that movie I wanted to yell timber halfway thru.
