BecomeIronMan.com Opens For Registration In The UK; Will Put Fans IN The Suit

It's not clear whether or not fans in the US will also be able to take advantage of this, but Marvel has opened the UK version of BecomeIronMan.com for registration and it reveals that, "You have the chance to try out the new Iron Man armour thanks to the latest in motion capture technology..."

We speculated about what BecomeIronMan.com might mean when the viral site was launched a couple of months ago, but it seems fair to say that none of us guessed that it would allow fans to actually suit up as Iron Man...well, sort of anyway! The UK version of the site has now gone live, and as you can see from the screengrabs below, it offers up the locations that the event will be taking place at and the promise that you will be able to see yourself in the Iron Man suit with the use of motion capture technology. Are you planning on registering? Sound off below!

Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
