With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. I love bands like Passion Pit and Neon Trees but...

Where the monkeys is AC/DC? Iron Maiden? Black Sabbath? This kind of music is half the reason the Iron Man films are so cool!

odd freaking mixture... doesn't fit the tone of the movie at all. and [frick]! Wolfmother was suppose to do a single for the movie. all I see is a song with andrew stockdale. dammit. they were the closest ones to ac/dc, sabbath and zepplin.

Better not be pulling some Spidey 3 bullshit.

Release the score as well.

Spidey 3 sucked but I thought the score was very well done.

Don't like how they say inspired by on these releases when some of the tunes were written and recorded before the movie was even a thought.

Redlight King is the only reason to pick up this soundtrack. The Avengers soundtrack is much better cause it has better rock music on it.

It's ok I know Tony has decent taste in music. He was rockin Suicidal Tendencies in the first movie.

I am a fan of Awolnation and a really big Imagine Dragons fan and its good to see them on the soundtrack. However I think Radioactive by Imagine Dragons would really have been a good fit for the movie.

Onleatherwings: Rock music is good music. As long as they never put Nirvana on a soundtrack, I'm all good. Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, The Punisher, DareDevil and The Avengers have the best soundtracks or albums whatever you want to call them. I like to refer them as good music. Nickelback is on two of them, three if you count Hero by Chad Kroeger ft. Josey Scott (my introduction to Nickelback more-less). All time favorite band.

Yes, Nickelback is my all time favorite band. I'm not afraid to say it publicly. I have all their CDs.

Rock music is where people actually play their own instruments right?
Yea,okay..glad to see actual talent & not retard turntables with crappy DJ.

The idea that everything related to 'rock music' are good is a big illusion, specially when we speak about what type of 'rock music' has been produced in the last 15/20 years.

A bit of info: there's good bands and bad bands.

And today we have a bunch of bands fabricated by big corporations.

I don't mind them switching this stuff up. For Iron Man 2 there was the freaking AC/DC CD and yet there was what, one song in the movie? I LOVE AC/DC! My favorite all time band, but I don't mind them departing from their music.

Glad they got away from the AC/DC old farts. Time for some other bands to get attention.

If some other bands are those listed above, I only hope I don't have to listen to that shit during the movie.

:/ I'm not against all new music or anything, I thought the Avengers Assemble soundtrack was great. But a lot of this sounds like background music to a Disney Channel movie. Ugh.

Somewhat OT I suppose, but TNT would be a great way to start of IM3.

Where the [frick] is Foo Fighters? They're easily the best still standing alternative band from the 90s along with Soundgarden. What the [frick] happened to Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots? They all got on drugs and ruined their careers. Foo and Soundgarden are still going strong.
EdgyOutsider
EdgyOutsider - 3/28/2013, 4:12 PM
@Altair: bands like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters have sucked (no disrespect to Kurt Cobain). Stone Temple Pilots were good as were Alice in Chains and Seven Mary Three. A lot of people praise Nirvana but, I feel they did nothing for rock music. Bands like Seether and Nickelback have improved greatly from them.
