IMHO: How To Make Iron Man 2

IMHO: How To Make Iron Man 2

In light of recent news, I feel I must state my opinion on the Iron Man 2 movie.

So basically, Iron Man 2 looks like it is going to rock. But I have a few problems with it.

First off, Robert Downey Jr. is amazing. I wouldn't trade him as Iron Man for anything.

Second, I like Don Cheadle, he is an amazing actor. But, much like Terrence Howard, I don't feel he is right for the part of War Machine. Neither of them are built right for it. IMO, and honestly, I've never seen much of a difference in the role's they play. Therefore, I would like to nominate Cuba Gooding Jr. I've seen quite a few of his movies, and I feel like hi is a very diverse character, who would not only bring a good vibe to the character. But, would also mesh extremely well with Robert Downey Jr.

Next, Scarlett Johansson? Mind you, I think she's hot, and a pretty good actress. But, I will never think of her as the Black Widow. Nor, will Emily Blunt, or Megan Fox or any other twenty year old girl they want to throw in there, ever be suitable to play the black widow. The Black Widow, needs to be mature, sexy, in perfect shape, able to seduce you with her eyes, while cutting your throat. She needs to look like a woman who knows exactly what she's doing at every second. She should be able to make a man stop in his tracks, lay down in a mud puddle, and let her walk on him. Are you getting my point? Look to kill....

That being said, I nominate Mila Jovovich as The Black Widow. It works pretty well. She's sexy, RUSSIAN, red-headed, hot as hell, looks good with a gun, hot as hell, she can pretty much kick ass, as we've all seen, she's hot as hell, and she's an extremely good actress...how does this not make sense? How did this get past you Jon? Damn.

Alright, now that I've said my peace. I'm good. Just makes more sense to me this way, and seems that the actors would make the movie a lot better. Not saying it won't be amazing now. Just think it could be better.

Thats all folks

Jos, that is the BEST picture arguing the case as Milla Jovavich as BW. I am now sold. And Cuba Gooding as War Machine, I'm surprised it wasn't thought of sooner. He has the physical stature, and he his penchant for being a bit overdramatic suits the character of Rhodey.

Great job!

If ever there was a graduate from the school of smell the fart acting its Cuba! Sorry i [frick]ing hate him. Every movie hes in its the same routine..big wide eyes, suck in bottom lip..maybe cry a little..jesus hes even crying in that pic! The oscar was a fluke..theres a reason hes now making movies like Snow Dogs 3. Don Cheadle blows him out of the water.

Jovovitch on the other hand, heel yeah! Shed make a great Widow

@theprogram. very good pick. he would do well. can't believe i didn't think of him. @Ror. Really? See I love Don Cheadle, but I think he's very....dry? I'm not sure that's the correct term. But, yeah. I think Cuba would compliment Robert Downey well, and vice versa

Scarlett Johansson "actress"actually is a clone from original person, who has nothing with acting career.Clone was created illegally using stolen biomaterial.Original Scarlett Galabekian last name is nice, CHRISTIAN young lady.Original family didn't authorize any activity with stolen biomaterials

@theprogram. I've honestly never read anything Ultimate Iron Man. Never cared. Jarvis was indeed an old bald headed white dude. But he was the avengers butler. I believe i recall reading something along the lines of Mr. Stark, making a program based on jarvis for his personal home. not sure if i'm right tho. look it up.

@sergal
uh.......huh. k.

As your for mila for BW, i've never really found her that attractive. I do prefer Emily Blunt to mila, but hey it sounds like its just me.

And what about Olga Kurylenko as the Black Widow?

I just watched Pearl Harbor the other night and Cuba crossed my mind as War Machine as well, but I am still happy to accept Don Cheadle as War Machine, I just wish that Terrence wouldn't of been so pushy and stayed for the 2nd flick. Cheadle is one of my favorite actors ever since Hotel Rwanda, And Mila is amazing for Black Widow good choice sir!

@merinator. is that the chick from max payne or hitman or whatever? I saw her too actually. She would fit the part quite nicely. But, I don't personally know enough about her to recommend her for, what will or atleast should be a main star role in a movie.

Hotel Rwanda was the an amazing movie. But its also one of the reasons I didn't chose Don Cheadle. I know that sounds weird. I love his acting, and the majority of his movies. But he doesn't seem to fit this role, to me.

I love Cheadle way more than Cuba, but i agree with you Jos, until he proves himself, i don't see Cheadle fitting that well as Rhodey.

Olga Kurylenko has starred in 007 Quantum of Solace.

Here's her IMDB page:

And yes, she was in both Hitman and Max Payne.

well. I haven't seen any of those movies, and don't ever intend to. But she does look the part. So if she can act. You've got my vote.

Only problem I see is the fact that an eight year old boy has bigger boobs than Mila. Don't get me wrong I think she is fine but isn't Black widow supposed to be curvy.

Joslezio85 - 4/12/2009, 12:35 AM
I don't like Scarlet as Invisible Woman either, and Mila is curvy. She's just...not...curvy...there. lol.
