She's supposed to be undercover so the Black Widow wouldn't be speaking with her accent.

Her voice sounds different in the movies 'cause she's acting. It wouldn't be the same. To me, her voice sounds much different on-screen! We all have not seen her speak a word in this movie yet so it's impossible to know what she sounds like as Black Widow!

Yeah, I have heard her do accents in Girl With The Pearl Earing and Prestige, not too bad at the English accent. But she is supposed to be covert in Iron Man 2, wouldn't be very covert if she had a big Russian accent would it?

Some [frick]ing hopeless questions in this. "Did you feel you had to step away from the boys club?"..what is she in [frick]ing school! Ask her about the damn character and at least pretend your a real interviewer.

It is a pity that she wont have an accent in the movie...i dont see that having a Russian accent would have "blown her cover" so to speak.

Still, I agree with teabag - she should at least use an accent whilst she isnt undercover! The American accent should be the fake one she uses around Stark etc IMO!

Well, we don't know that she wont do that. I mean cmon Josh, shes a Russian operative posing as Starks American secretary..you don't think shouting Nostrovia in the bar after work would have compromised that cover? Also, as far as I know the whole "double agent" thing is supposed to be a surprise to non comic fans so I understand why they did it..would be nice to at least hear that accent once though!

yup that interviewer is a tool.

And I agree with Rorschach01 about the accent.
Of course a deep cover operative would use an accent that would support the false background they are sporting at the time.

Sirprize has it! Strip her down, cover her in BBQ Sauce and her accent will be the last thing on my mind!

While I can see your point on her having an accent while out of cover I will have to side with Rorschach01 and his newly varnished cabinet. You never know who is listening, and a job as high profile as Stark's assistant isn't worth the risk. An all out American accent is not only easier for Scarjo but more realistic given the situation.
