I saw Iron Man 2yesterday evening! My god, this movie is epic!

It’s fast-paced action with the same funny tone as the first one.

Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow
Damn girl! You kick some ass. My mouth really fell open when she did here stuff. I would have liked it if she did some more action in the movie, but this will probably be for The Avengers or Iron Man 3.

Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury
I loved him spilling his dialogues. Yeah, he does not do any action but I really just did not mind. He’s such a great actor.

RDJ as Tony Stark/Iron Man
This guy really has mastered the character. SPOILER: you can clearly see parts of the "Demon in a Bottle" comic in the movie. He plays it so good! I love it what he does with the character and really play’s the arrogant Tony stark who thinks he can take on the whole world but really is struggling with himself because he knows he’s dying.

Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer
The interactions between him and Tony are to die for. The theatre we were in was constantly laughing with the dialogue they have (not in a bad way). You can see he really hates it that he’s living in the shadow of Tony stark.

Mickey Rourke as Whiplash
Super! You feel really sorry for this guy once in a while in the movie and can relate to his pain. This guy puts down a superb villain.

Don Cheadle as War Machine
In the beginning of the movie I was picturing Terrence Howard the whole time on the screen but after a few scenes I forgot all about him. Don really play’s the part well. The battle between him and Tony for the Iron man suit is wicked!

Jon favreau as Happy
He’s just so funny! SPOILER: the way he gets his ass kicked by Natasha.. haha and when he takes on one guy and Natasha takes on the rest of the guards and then yells, "I Goth him." :D

Gwyneth paltrow as Pepper Potts
As the rest of the gang. Wicked! Love how she’s struggling between here love for Tony and the fact that she hates it that he is so arrogant.

I know I know there are no bad remarks I’m making about this movie.. But hey.. this move rocks so much it wont let you down. I do have some taught on some scenes in the move and want to discuss them with you guys.

My taught on some scenes and questions:

SPOILER WARNING:

1) Whiplash his final armour and battle. The battle between him and Tony and Rhodey I read some people think it’s over to quick and ends cheesy. We’ll I don’t feel that way. Ok it’s the end battle but if you make It longer after they both just fought off a huge amount of robots you can get the effect of the entire battle taking way to long. What I do feel is that the final armour of whiplash witch suppose to be crimson dynamo is ill made. He looks too much as Obadiah stane in the first movie
2) The final scene where Tony meets nick fury to talk about his past actions and the avenger’s initiative is epic. I know some people don’t understand the reason why fury say’s they want the armour but don’t want Tony in it. What does this mean? Is war machine going to be in the avengers and Tony not? I don’t think so. They way I see it, initially Tony will indeed by just an advisor in the avengers but finally will join them if they see that the thread they are facing is way to big to concur without Tony in his iron man suit. If you watched the ultimate avengers animated movies you see that first they don’t get along as a team but finally come together to face off the great thread. I think they will follow this story kind off with off course some adjustments
3) I know some people are talking about a reference to the hulk from nick fury in the movie and I think I found it in the scene where nick tells Tony that he is not the only problem he got and that he’s got bigger problems in the south.
4) Caps shield. We get to see it clearly now. Only thing that bothered me is the fact that it looks like a toy. I expected more of it. It was hilarious seeing Tony use it as a tool to keep his machine levelled to make a new kind of energy source witch leads to his new armour and the cure for his chest.
5) The end scene! Well it’s truly epic  seeing Thor’s hammer laying there. I do wonder, when Coulson call’s fury and say’s “we found him”. If you maybe get a good look when the camera turns to the crater if you maybe can see Thor himself? Second taught: We know Thor will be cast down to earth by Odin. Is this scene the part where he is cast down? Will he escape attention first from shield? Or this scene the part where he comes down to earth again after battling Loki in Ashgard and decides to stay on earth?
6) Finally. I loved the remarks they made about my country :D yes we can make more then Belgium waffles haha! You got to love our guns!

Give me you thoughts on this, guys!

just saw iron man 2 and its awesome. In the scene after the credits Im sure when you 1st see the crater you can see a person in red cape and helmet walking amongst all the other people. (right before it zooms into the hammer) Did anyone else see this???

dont hold me on it because it is a quick scene and agent coulsen is quite a distance from the crater so people walking about are small and not all that clear. Will be looking again when i watch it again next week!
Scarlet was awesome as black widow!!

yeah i know. but what i would find strange is that he say's "we found him" and they would only show his hammer. thor would never loose his hammer.

also the cars that are around the crater are pretty common to mee. not really shield cars. probably people who witnesed something comming down from the sky and wanted to have a look. i wonder if nathalie portman is amongst them or another character from the thor movie. this would mean that thor is set after IM2... OR this is the part where he comes back from ashgard after defeating loki and decides to return to earth to stay there. :)

my god i'm thinking way to much ahead of me :D

@ yowsaman

well, the Thor scene reminds me of the new Thor comic series. when he returns to earth in the first issue, just his hammer hits the ground. people gather around it, and everyone tries to lift it, but they can't. then Thor just walks up, picks it up, and walks off.

so its not a matter of him losing his hammer, more like they got separated when he gets banished. at least thats how it was in the comics, and this actually sounds pretty similar.

@ corndogburglar can be true. i think we'll just have to wait for thor to come out :)

@ teabag.. tnx. i'm not really worried about the shield it was just a minor dissapointment to me cause i expected more of it. i do hope it's not ment as the real shield for cap. they'll have to fight something else then aliens i think :D

ps: sorry for some spelling mistakes in my articles guy's. i just noticed some. kind of hard writing in a different language :p

like the review. saw it lastnight with my 5year old. the southwest thing may be a nod to Hulk but the main one i think is when Fury is telling Tony he doesnt want him for the avengers initiative. on one of the video screens is a video of a university campus in broad daylight which looked extremely like news footage from the university campus battle between Hulk and Blonski and the army. the shield was a good nod to Cap too but is obviously just that and probably wont come to anything. Scar-jo kicked ass and looked gorgeous. i wouldnt mind dying if it meant i did it with her legs wrapped around my head. loved the film in its entirety. roll on blu-ray and then Thor
