Ah, there it is.

Anyway I kinda geeked out seeing Downey on stage with Norman Reedus.

Daryl Dixon = AMC cash cow

Iron Man = Marvel cash cow

They'd be good pals.

Btw, when people mention The Mandarin/Trevor in IM3, can you not call it "The Mandarin Twist"? It sounds like a smoothie or dance move.

The people have spoken. IRON MAN is the new "it" CBM superhero. Not bad from only 2008.

Rick Grimes an anti-hero?
Gamera623
Gamera623 - 1/9/2014, 5:16 AM
Why are Man of Steel and Thor 2 not even nominees?

If my only multiple choices for best movie are
Despicable Me 2
Fast & Furious 6
Iron Man 3
Monsters University
Star Trek Into Darkness
Id pick Iron Man 3 as well...despite MoS And T:TDW and Pacific Rim and Hobbit 2 and Catching Fire all being better movies.

Were these 5 movies also voted by "the people"?
Enphlieuwince
Enphlieuwince - 1/9/2014, 5:18 AM
@Ocelot

I was confused by that too...
Enphlieuwince

" yeah, these mean little to nothing"

They're ever so slightly more significant than the CBM.com Awards that people were gloating over, huh?
DefcoN
DefcoN - 1/9/2014, 5:22 AM
@Charlie2094 And that's where I think Marvel wins, because some of the GA might get interested enough to pick up a comic for the first time after watching their movies. Hell, that's how they got me back in 2008!
TheRationalNerd
TheRationalNerd - 1/9/2014, 5:24 AM
The "people's" choice awards.

Not the "fans" choice awards. :)

TheWolverine08
TheWolverine08 - 1/9/2014, 5:26 AM
@DefconN The number of people who decide to pick up a comic after seeing a CBM is next to few. CBM viewing is more of a short entertainment excursion for most of the general public.
Kurne
Kurne - 1/9/2014, 5:27 AM
@Ocelot

"Rick Grimes an anti-hero?"

Well, Rick is basically the Raylan Givens of The Walking Dead... He pulls out his revolver in every scene as long as another being is present :P
MightyZeus
MightyZeus - 1/9/2014, 5:28 AM
Glad to see Gravity winning most of those awards. Good to see The Walking Dead winning two awards as well but as some one brought up why is Rick Grime listed as an anti hero?

The best part about Iron Man 3 is Robert Downey Jr just being Tony Stark. So yeah i give credit to where it's due.

RynerLute
RynerLute - 1/9/2014, 5:29 AM
Iron Man is overrated , I cringe every time someone tries to pawn that off as Marvel's best outing.

It gets due credit for kicking off this party, but idk, I find myself watching the First Avenger way more on Netflix than Iron Man.

@0megaDaGod - 1/9/2014, 5:25 AM

"Yea, I think I'd rather listen to the winners as voted by around 100 random guys on CBM, as opposed to 700,000 people voting with no bias attached and only their movie going experience to base their votes on"

Reading between the lines, 0mega says...

TheWolverine08
TheWolverine08 - 1/9/2014, 5:32 AM
"Did they have any idea how many scenes Downey's stunt double did over the 100% realistic scenes Hugh Jackman did in The Wolverine?"

You're going to rustle some Marvel Studios fan's jimmies with this line Black Nerd!
