RESULTS: Which 2013 Superhero Movie Are You Most Looking Forward To?

A little under 7,000 of you voted when we asked which of the 2013 superhero movies you're most looking forward to, and the results were pretty unanimous. So, Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, The Wolverine, or Thor: The Dark World? Find out here!

As you already know, next year kicks off with Iron Man 3, and the third instalment of the franchise (this time directed by Shane Black) is set to feature fan favourite elements from the comics, such as the "Extremis" armour and 'The Mandarin'. Next up? Superman's eagerly anticipated return to the big screen in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. After the disappointing Superman Returns in 2006, this looks set to be the film fans have always wanted. Another superhero who makes ha return after a disappointing outing, is The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman back as Logan. X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a terrible film, but the Japan set sequel (helmed by 3:10 To Yuma's James Mangold) will hopefully wash away the bad taste left by that prequel. We finish off the year with Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World, in which it was recently revealed that we will see Christopher Eccleston as the villainous Malekith The Accursed. When we asked you which of the above films you're most looking forward to seeing on the big screen, it was the return of Superman which clearly has the majority of you wishing 2012 would just hurry up and end already. Of course, it's worth bearing in mind that Man of Steel is the only film we've seen any sort of teaser trailer for (not that it exactly revealed anything too exciting) so whether these results will differ as we get closer to 2013 remains to be seen...

Btw, I have no hype nor probably wont have any for wolverine, Im kinda sick of what Fox has done with X men. On screen they've become kinda boring to me.

The ONLY movie I've ever liked Jackman in is The Prestige.

I've concluded that the only way I'll be able to enjoy seeing Wolverine is to think it is going to be a movie NOT about Wolverine. I've learned that from The Dark Knight Rises.

This was pretty obvious. Man of Steel has Snyder, an actor who looks like Kal-El, and promises ACTION. He'll actually throw a punch!

I voted Man of Steel, normally it would've been Wolvie or Iron Man, but honestly i'm eager to see where this movie goes and how it does, I think the sole fate of a Justice League movie is on it's shoulders, if it flops like Green Lantern did, then we will be waiting a lot longer for a JL movie a LOT longer...and it will be some indication on the over all tonality of the rest of the DC movies that follow it.

I'm probably looking forward to IM3 the least. Not because I did t love te avengers and IM1 (2 was okay), but because Ive seen it before. I felt the same about TDKR. Just wasn't as excited. Loved the movie, and I'm sure I'll enjoy IM3, but not a big deal for me until probably a week or 2 before its released.

Superman though, I've never been this excited for a movie before period.
And Wolverine I think will be great. The [frick]ed up too much in the first, I hope and think this one will redeem the franchise.

Next year is a great year for comicbookmovies! Man of Steel is my most anticipated film next year, followed by Iron-Man 3 and Thor 2. I really don't care about Wolverine for some reason beyond me. Anyways, it's gonna be awesome!

I'll only give a shit for The Wolverine if its rated R and is gory as [frick]. Man of Steel is probably my most anticipated, but I pumped for Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World!

Yeah, MoS is my most anticipated one.

Basically because aside from superman II I never liked any of the previous movies.

And knowing the character from the comics (I'm not a DC guy but I had my share of superman comics) you know it has never been justice to him on the silver screen.

That's my opinion, of course.
