From Academy Award®--winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton comes "John Carter"—a sweeping action-adventure set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars). "John Carter" is based on a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, whose highly imaginative adventures served as inspiration for many filmmakers, both past and present. The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands. The screenplay was written by Andrew Stanton, Mark Andrews and Michael Chabon.

You can follow @JohnCarter film on Twitter and LIKE it on Facebook. Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins and Willem Dafoe, Mark Strong, Bryan Cranston, James Purefoy, Dominic West, Thomas Haden Church and Ciarán Hinds are starring in the upcoming adaptation. On MARCH 9TH, he arrives.

Hunger Games' marketing team > Disney's marketing team. It's like Disney wants this movie to fail just so they can stick it to dick cook.

I hate this trailer. Meh editing and music.

Almost makes me not want to see it.

But I'm definitely going March 10!

This was better than the first two trailers.

It still doesn't hold a candle to that fan-made trailer though.

I think this movie will end up being a surprise blockbuster.

Might I say that Taylor Kitch looks to me terribly miscast, and I despise his expressions, sayings, looks and by and large everything he does in these trailers.. Awfully predictable, and dispassionate.

Andrew Stanton, why?
