"When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for The Flash and his family, the ripples of the event prove disastrous as a fractured, alternate reality now exists where a Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Teaming with a grittier, more violent Dark Knight and Cyborg, Flash races to restore the continuity of his original timeline while this new world is ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman's Amazons and Aquaman’s Atlanteans. With breath taking action and an all-star voice cast, it's a bold, emotional vision that will forever change the landscape of the DC Universe."

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox will be released on dvd, blu-ray and other home video platforms on July 30, 2013. It premieres at San Diego Comic Con on July 19th.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of Cyborg as a JL member over J'onn, I love Cyborg in this story.

While it is a Flash book, Cyborg IMO steals the show a bit.

i prefer martian manhunter over cyborg too. But Cyborg has a cool story too that needs to be explored. Im also glad that they have the flash (someone other than supes or bats as the central character) i love the flash and I think he needs to get more shine. I have some great ideas for a flash movie showing his true depth (which comes from the broader abilities he has courtesy of his connection to the speed force, like visions, polarisation) if done properly he is an incredible character with so much potential.

Great clip cant wait for this movie. I just wish these movies can be a longer in length like an extra 30 minutes.

This movie should be at least three hours long. The Flashpoint story was the end of the DCU as we knew it... so they should have done it justice with a two parter like the Dark Knight Returns.

Yeah, Cyborg is a lot cooler now than he used to be. I'd love to see more of him in the comics. They always seem to keep him in the background though.

Sweet! Such a great arc and I'm sure DC will do it justice as they have all arcs they've translated into animated films. Dare I say DC is starting to do both - put out awesome animated movies & now for the second year in a row put out an awesome feature film movie!
Grabthemcakes
Grabthemcakes - 7/5/2013, 5:16 PM
For those posting on Cyborg - I truly believe his story can translate very well in a feature film. With today's technology it is not even that far fetched something like this could happen.

In a film it would give us a look at what the government / private corporations are doing with robotic technology behind the public's eye which would sell this movie to the average movie audience (non fan boys). DC really has a very unique character here in Cyborg for the big screen if they do him right.

@newmutants

Sadly many folks don't actually read the books. That is what eats me up the most on this site, especially with the Marvel trolls that come on here slamming DC with comments like "IM3 > MOS", "DC = fail", etc. yet they couldn't name ONE Marvel story arc if their life depended on it. It seems like post posters here call themselves Marvel fans (comic fans) since 2008 when CBM truly started catching on big with the public.

@grabthemcakes

You're basically describing Robocop. That's all a Cyborg movie would really be. Cyborg is basically a black Six Million Dollar Man.

Totally getting this when it come on VUDU. Hopefully i get it a week early like they did with Superman Unleashed
Emjeed
Emjeed - 7/5/2013, 5:48 PM
@tv0r03 I disagree. The motivations and circumstances surrounding Victor Stone's transformation into Cyborg are different from the movie/tv show you compare it to
tvor03
tvor03 - 7/5/2013, 6:06 PM
Sure, the characterization is different, but it's still the same premise. With the Robocop remake coming out next year, a Cyborg movie would be seen as typical DC Johnny-come-lately.

The JL movie should be loosely be based on this... wow
Crescendo
Crescendo - 7/5/2013, 6:47 PM
Not feeling Cyborgs' voice though. The animation, as always, is top notch with DC and with solid productions like the Man of Steel, maybe, just maybe, DC will start getting the respect they deserve.
Ocelot
Ocelot - 7/5/2013, 6:48 PM
Cyborgs one character who seriously needs a redesign to his look. Look is very 80's and too bulky and would of course be called a robocop ripoff if that look ever made it to live action.
SnapperCarr
SnapperCarr - 7/5/2013, 6:51 PM
This movie and the entire Flashpoint series are just vehicles Geoff Johns is using to justify why Cyborg belongs in the JLA. This probably means Martian Manhunter will get less and less media representation.
SnapperCarr
SnapperCarr - 7/5/2013, 6:52 PM
Also [frick] no to Cyborg being in a JL movie. Marvel already has Iron Man. Martian Manhunter is more original with shape shifting and telepathic powers.
