While Star Wars: The Last Jedi may be their cover story this week, Entertainment Weekly has also obtained a new piece of concept art from the next DC Films adventure, Justice League, which is due out in theaters this November.
The new artwork takes us deep inside the Batcave to give us an early look at the Batman (Ben Affleck) giving his new allies - Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) - the lowdown about the apocalyptic threat that's coming to Earth. In a conversation with EW, Affleck teased an interesting dynamic, "He brings them to the Batcave and lets them in on the central conflict of the story, who the enemy is. There’s a little bit of a Magnificent Seven aspect to it.”
With his loner status now in the past, Batman has a brand new toy to play with: the Flying Fox, which will serve as the Justice League's main form of transportation across the globe as the deal with Steppenwolf and his Parademons. Production designer Patrick Tatopoulos was kind enough to provide a few cool details about the massive aircraft, which can reportedly hold up to three Batmobiles! “The bottom part of the jet is a huge cargo bay, which the Batmobile sits in. The second floor is like a cultural center, with computer terminals. The third story is the cockpit. Whatever floor you are on, you can see [the other] two stories.”

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
