JUSTICE LEAGUE Costume Test Photos Reveal New Shots Of Aquaman, The Flash, And Willem Dafoe's Vulko

Zack Snyder's Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner has shared some early costume tests from the film showcasing characters like Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Willem Dafeo's Atlantean, Vulko!

Zack Snyder's Justice League is on its way to HBO Max, and a new trailer for the film will be released online tomorrow. While it will largely be similar to the one shared during DC FanDome, the director has teased fresh footage which will no doubt continue building hype for the four-hour epic.

One of the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut supporters, and a close friend of Snyder's, Fabian Wagner is helping build hype with behind-the-scenes photos from Justice League

The cinematographer worked with the director on the film before Joss Whedon took over from Snyder, and was there from the start, hence why he's now sharing some early costume test photos. In those, we see Batman (that's not Ben Affleck), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Vulko (Willem Dafoe). The latter was cut from the film Joss Whedon delivered.

We'll get to see what the latter character's relationship with Arthur Curry was like before the events of Aquaman in Zack Snyder's Justice League as the hero will be re-added to this director's cut. He looks pretty badass and his armor isn't all that different to what the future King of Atlantis donned.

@tmp3 - Yeah I think it’s bc it’s a stand in and it was probably molded to Ben. I think he just wasn’t available that day so they had a stand in to test the suit

@tmp3 - The rubber neck always looks off (ben affleck or stuntman)

Boy am I glad Wan went in a different direction with the costume design in Aquaman, because I can't take this Vulko serious (although most of the time Zack's costume design ain't that bad either)

@bkmeijer - tbh I like both, I prefer Arthur’s design in JL but the rest of the Atlanteans in Aquaman. I just wish they took the armor style of JL for Arthur and colored it like the suit from Aquaman but I don’t hate it

Wasn't a huge fan of the JL Batsuit. I like that Aquaman design in the first picture a lot.

That seems to be Richard Cetrone in the batsuit, one of Affleck's stunt doubles. And he looks much better and leaner in the suit, he always has.
Affleck is a bigger guy but he was never outright fat, at least not in BvS. Yet he still looks bloated most of the time. It's like they created the batsuit specifically for the stunt performer.

@Fares - Affleck looks "bloated" mostly in Justice League, due to reshoots taking place much later than initial filming and I *think* it was around a time where he was going through a lot of personal issues including the beginnings of a brief relapse - although I'm not sure whether that occurred during reshoots or afterward.

He looked a lot better in the suit in BvS (the suit itself also looked a lot better in that movie, I'm not too keen on the changes made for JL) and thankfully he seems like he's been in much better health over the last couple of years.

I prefer the simpler symbol for The Flash

@duncboy - fits the rest of the suit a lot better. Just give Ezra red hair in post and he’d be far more acceptable as Wally

James Wan's Aquaman costumes are so much better.

IDK who is in the Batsuit but it looks better than Ben. Less of a stumpy suit. More elongated and elegant.

Batman suit looks amazing. Affleck never looked this good. Why did they cast him again?
