A new clip from the Justice League Dark animated movie has been released, which takes us to the Hall of Justice for a meeting with the core team of heroes.

Superman and Wonder Woman brief their colleagues, and suggest that the wave of violence sweeping the city could be rooted in magic. Batman then uses this as an excuse to tell them to get their heads out of the clouds... literally.

When innocent civilians begin committing unthinkable crimes across Metropolis, Gotham City and beyond, Batman must call upon mystical counterparts to eradicate this demonic threat to the planet. Enter Justice League Dark, reluctantly led by the Hellblazer himself, John Constantine. Like Batman, Constantine is a cunning, often cynical loner who is the best at his chosen profession – but quickly realizes the sinister forces plaguing the planet will require help from other supernatural alliances. Forming a new “league” with sorceress Zatanna, otherworldly Deadman, and Jason Blood and his powerful alter ego Etrigan the Demon, this team of Dark Arts specialists must unravel the mystery of Earth’s supernatural plague and contend with the rising, powerful villainous forces behind the siege – before it’s too late for all of mankind.

Justice League Dark will feature Matt Ryan as John Constantine alongside Jason O’Mara as Batman, Camilla Luddington as Zatanna, Nicholas Turturro as Deadman, Ray Chase as Jason Blood/Etrigan, Roger R. Cross as John Stewart/Swamp Thing, Jeremy Davies as Ritchie Simpson, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Enrico Colantoni as Felix Faust, and Alfred Molina as Destiny.

The movie will debut digitally on January 24th, and then make its way to DVD and Blu-ray on February 7th, 2017.

Assault on Arkham is amazing, way better than Suicide Squad. Will definitely check this out.

They should kill Batman in the comic book world and try to survive without his story for a while. It would help DC focus on other heroes.

I still wish to see the "New Krypton" and "War of the Supermen" storyline, that would be awesome! :')

The animation's not my favourite but it's cool that Camilla Luddington is voicing Zatanna.

That doesn't seem like a conclusion Batman would jump to based off of a video clip...automatically they're wrong and magic has nothing to do with worldwide mass hysteria?

We need more detective in the "world's greatest detective" --- unless we're ditching that and just making him a grumpy dude with gadgets.

Is there any continuity to these? Looks like the same style and designs as that one a few years ago that I didn't like.

@Doomsday8888 - Maybe I'll give them another try, then. I liked the older ones (though the reception hasn't seemed all that warm).

@Doomsday8888 - *Since Justice League: War

Never got why everyone has such a negative gripe on Justice League: War. Just rewatched it on Netflix and I thought it was amazing.
