I love DC animated movies, but its always Batman or superman. When they did green lantern and wonderwoman it was a breather of fresh air. Yeah this is the JLeague but still just feels like another Batman animated film. Ohh well maybe they will realize they have 100s of awesome characters and use them for a movie one day.

I bet [racial slur]sihate is a black dude, and everyone is getting stupid over nothing. On another note that's how Superman should be portrayed not Smallville.

@drew, check out the sales figures for the animated movies.
I liked the non supes/bats movies too, but their sales figures dont bode well. its the same story in comics and why there is a very batman superman wolverine spiderman prominence in these worlds. iron man is making a comeback thanks to a strong movie showing, maybe, Dc can pull together an extraordinary flick with a slighty *slightly lesser known hero. my vote is for nightwing or green lantern done properly for the non CB crowd. not because they arent known, but because they have a decent enough base to build up best upon.

Okay that looks alright--I just don't see why Ace reacts with what appears to be pain in response to Superman's initial heat-eye-beam blast or whatever it is, since he is a robot and does not seem to react when he is being ripped apart piece by piece.

Looks good. DC/WB is smart to use the JL crew for the voices. They are consistently the best!

Once again Superman is not well portrayed in an animated feature. Why stand there and waste time taking the punches from a robot? Why not just vaporize it with heat vision or just rip its head off? He really makes a quip to a robot? That seems a little insecure. Show his strength, speed, the power of his heat vision. A robot shouldn't be able to move Supes' head at all with a punch. This was always a problem with his animated series. They never seemed to have a consistent grasp of his power and speed from episode to episode.

I don't like the "S" on his costume but it's not enough to seriously gripe about.

I like how a lot of the DC movies look the same yet have their own feel if they are trying to go for a certain artists' style or whatnot. I wish marvel would invest more into the animated movie genre - DC def owns it but Marvel's haven't been bad, guess they focus more on the animated series. OH well, either way we get 2-3 of these a year

Good stuff! There's a scene in an episode of STAS where Supes is in a building, several floors up, bad guy shoots ray gun at him, Supes zooms over, crushes the gun, grabs the guy by the collar, melts the glass in a window and dangles the guy over the edge while interrogating him. Great scene! A Superman with a little Batman attitude. Hope Snyder gives us some of that in MOS.
