JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL Behind The Scenes Photo Reveals Adam Brody's Flash Mask

A new photo from behind the scenes of Justice League: Mortal reveals the Flash mask Adam Brody's Scarlet Speedster was supposed to wear in the George Miller movie which never ended up becoming a reality...

Had Justice League: Mortal become a reality, Shazam! star Adam Brody would have ended up playing the Fastest Man Alive. Now, Seven Friends: George Miller's Justice League director Ryan Unicomb has revealed the mask the actor would have worn as the Scarlet Speedster.

This is the first time the costume has actually been shown, and it sounds like more big reveals like this will be featured in that documentary (which Unicomb once again attempting to get green-lit).

What we see in the Instagram post below is obviously from an early stage in production, but the shape appears to be comic book accurate, and what you would expect the Flash to wear. It's unlikely that it was ever finished, as the writers strike led to Justice League: Mortal slipping into development hell and ultimately being cancelled by Warner Bros. before shooting started.

Director George Miller went on to direct Mad Max: Fury Road, while Brody eventually found his way into the DC Universe when he played a member of the Shazam Family in 2019's Shazam!

@BlackBeltJones - A neo-nazi can get a famous director, behind two back-to-back blockbusters fired for some old jokes, while this clown can choke women for fun and not face any repercussions. Funny how Hollywood works, huh.

Now THIS is the JL movie we need, but not the one we deserve.

I’m far more interested in this cancelled project than Snyder’s take. WB should support the documentary and put it on HBO Max.

I’d love to see what he would’ve done with this even if we can get an animated take.
