JUSTICE LEAGUE: THRONE OF ATLANTIS Sneak Peek

Throne of Atlantis — to be released early next year on DVD, Blu-ray and for digital download and on demand — adapts a comic arc that pits the undersea nation of Atlantis against the surface world. Unlike the comic, the movie will focus on how young Arthur Curry discovers his aquatic heritage. Raised by his human father, when the movie begins he doesn't know that he is the heir to the throne of the watery kingdom.

More images at the link below. Aquaman will be voiced by 90210's Matt Lanter, and he'll be joined by many of the Justice League: War cast including Jason O'Mara (Batman), Shemar Moore (Cyborg), Christopher Gorham (the Flash), Sean Astin (Shazam). Plus, Nathan Fillion (Green Lantern), Rosario Dawson (Wonder Woman), Jerry O'Connell (Superman), Sam Witwer (Orm), and Sumalee Montano (Meera).

If it is this fall, at least we won't have to wait that long! I'm ready for Aquaman to get some spotlight! And then hopefully next in live-action.

Hope we get plenty of cameos of other characters and possibly Young Justice characters. Even 2 secs, saving some folks. We did have Kaldur in Flashpoint Paradox, so anything is possible.

The whole idea of Orm wanting to create a war between the Humans and Atlantean's seems very cinematic to me. I could easily see the upcoming Justice League film featuring Aquaman as the lead, in a sort of origin story for both Aquaman, and the team itself. It may sound a bit Loki/Chitauri ish, but I think this would be much more interesting to see.

Fantastic.

Eeehh...

Anyway, a Aquaman origin film would be excellent with Orm as the villain.

Lol, DC could probably make Orm the DC Loki if they wanted, DaVinci.

Although Orm in ToA is very sympathetic. He's not even really a villain. He's doing his duties as King.

Hell, Orm in the New 52 even looks like Hiddleston! :P

But most definitely will purchase this

ToA doesn't even really have to be a JL film. It could be the plot of a solo Aquaman film if they wanted with Arthur trying to defeat Orm so he becomes King and can stop it. It doesn't necessarily have to be a JL thing if they wanted to adapt the story.

I'm not asking for another Conroy, but at least get somebody a little better. I mean, it shouldn't be that hard find somebody better.

DamianWayne, eh, they posted the trailer with a quick intro, I posted the trailer with a quick intro. What would you like...a 5 page essay on the history of Aquaman to go with it?

@ Davinci:

This has already been done in the comics, which this film is based on.

Also, they should have Roger Craig Smith voicing Batman. He did a much better job in arkham origins than Jason O'Mara is doing in these films.
