POLL: Which GREEN LANTERN Would You Most Like To See In Warner Bros.' JUSTICE LEAGUE?

A reliable source has revealed the line-up of Warner Bros.' planned Justice League movie and it includes Green Lantern. However, with no guarantee that Ryan Reynolds' Hal Jordan will return, which of Sector 2814's Lantern's would you most like to see join the League?

While it's certainly possible that Warner Bros. will bring back Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, the response to 2011's Green Lantern may just mean that the studio decides to give another of Earth's Lantern's a chance to shine on the big screen. While Man of Steel may lead into the superhero ensemble, it seems fair to assume that the movie will serve as a way to introduce the likes of The Flash Wonder Woman to the big screen, so why not a new Green Lantern? Personally, I would love to see the team given some racial diversity and both Simon Baz and John Stewart fit that bill. Of course, you also have characters such as Guy Gardner and Kyle Raynor who have their fans, while it would be rather interesting to see them go with a left-field choice like Sinestro (hey, they may use "John Blake" as Batman, so stranger things have certainly happened!). Anyway, here is your chance to decide which Green Lantern YOU would most like to see as a part of the Justice League...

HAL JORDAN

GUY GARDNER

JOHN STEWART

KYLE RAYNER

SINESTRO

SIMON BAZ

I'd love to see Reynolds' Hal Jordan given another chance. I thought he was great in the role, he just needs a proper script and better direction. Although, I wouldn't mind too much if they go with John Stewart.

Hal Jordan of course!

I really don't mind Hal or John being the one in it.

But I would rather have Hal starting out. But John is such a bada** I think he could redeem the Green Lantern character from that abomination in 2011.

Jordan is my choice, but they would be smart to cash in on how popular John Stewart was in Justice League Unlimited and use him.

John Stewart would be a good choice! Racial diversity and easy way to separate him from the Ryan Reynolds debacle

Hal was screwed by Reynolds, so my vote goes to Stewart or Gardner. Would be nice to see a total different approach for GL.

MOTHER [frick]ING SIMON BAZ!!!

Hal is a douche, Guy is funny...but still a douche, John Stewart is the coolest cause he's black, Kyle is lame, I'd rather Sinestro be the villian in a JLA movie and Simon Baz is the bestest.

@WaylonJones Words taken right out my mouth. John Stewart is possibly more popular to the general audience after Justice Leauge Unlimited. Not to mention it gives the whole Green Lantern Univerese a fresh start. Go the Incredible Hulk route and ignore the Ang Lee version.

Besides let's be reasonable Baz just came out so no dice to him, Guy Gardner would just not fit, plus I would rather see Kyle be under mentorship of either Hal or John Stewart.

Can you imagine what Fox News would say if they went with Baz?

@monkey: agreed. I want Hal first, but would be ok with John

Baz has had the ring for 3 books and he's already proven to have more will than Hal and Sinestro...combined.

Also, he's a mixture of Hal and Sinestro.

Hal or John.Kyle and Baz would be to soon and Guy is kind of a jerk though the scene where Bats knocked him out with one punch would be funny in a movie adptation.

I would imagine hal jordan is the route they take (either with reynolds or recast) but my vote is for either jordan, stewart or my favorite gl, kyle.

knightofsteel what are you talking about, there was nothing to john before the animated series? do you read comicbooks. AND hal was only potrayed once in the animated series in an awesome cameo and he wasn't a douche.

@ Durf6199 - Are Republicans ashamed of their own ideology? I mean, only 27% of you have favorable views towards Muslims.

It's like when I said you guys hated gays, minorities and poor people and you guys lost your minds.

@PatriotsSuperGuy: first of all, I don't hate any race, gender, or sexual persuasion(is that the correct phrasing?). Second, I'm not rich in any way so why would I hate poor people?

Third, you completely missed the mark about what I said douchebag. I simply said: " there's always a douche that's got to bring politics into everything..." Reading comprehension is your friend

Honestly, I'd love to see Hal Jordan given another chance in some form but also I'd like to see Sinestro as one of the villains...I'd also like to see the mantle passed onto either John Stewart or Kyle Rayner or at least a cameo for future installments...

@knightofsteel

no, he wasn't racist. this was back in the 70s, it was a white guy's way of writing a black character so stewart sounded angry and mad at "the man", after a while he became a more rounded hero.

and my bad, thought you were talking about the cartoons.

Gotta go with the classic Hal Jordan. Also asking if Sinestro or Baz should be in the JLA movie is just as dumb as saying Batman should be John Robin Blake, or Asking me if The New Version of Alan Scott should be part of this movie. Come On!!!

Kyle hasn't been the main Green Lantern for nearly a decade. Guy is more or less comic relief.Baz just got here. The only real choices would be John or Hal. If its John you cover the diversity angle, appeal to a generation of fans from the early to mid 2000's and you can play up his being the most professional leaguer after Batman like they did in the Justice League animated series. If its Hal, you take advantage of the major marketing push WB/DC has put on the character since Johns took him over. Good or bad,he was featured in the Green Lantern film, several animated DC films and is the Green Lantern to millions of kids on DC nation.

I would stick with Reynold's Hal just so we could use the Green Lantern film as a lead in to Justice League along with Man of Steel. Marvel had a similar situation with the Hulk film that under performed yet they redeemed him in The Avengers.Perhaps Green Lantern is a character like the Hulk, that the public would rather have as a supporting character in a team up film over a lead character.
