Kick-Ass is based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar. It was directed by Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake) from a script by Jane Goldman. Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Mark Strong and Nicolas Cage star.

It seems like ages ago that Kick-Ass came out! Even though I saw it twice in the theater, I can't wait to watch it again on my big screen, in all of its surround-sound glory!

Awesome find Brent! It's not out here in the UK on DVD or blu-ray until September 6th! I guess that's what we get for having it in the cinema a few weeks earlier, lol! :P

I'll be picking up the blu-ray the moment it is released though - one of the best movies of the year so far IMO. (let's just hope Vaughn does just as good a job with First Class!)

This movie blew me away so much that I dragged friends to see it that otherwise would never have. F**king awesome, and Chloe just owns this movie as Hit Girl. First day buy for me!!!

I finally read the book and it was pretty bad ass. So I can only assume after the all the praise on this site, I should just pick up the Blu-ray immediately.

does anyone know if there's going to be a special edition/collector's edition/director's cut edition released? i've looked around a bit and there doesn't seem to be any mention of it. how soon after the regular dvd release of watchmen did they announce the ultimate cut?

I cannot wait to get the Kick-Ass dvd when it comes out August 3rd!! The special features are awesome!
