Sir Elton John In Talks To Join KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE
Matthew Vaughn's upcoming Kingsman sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, may be very close to adding another very interesting piece to its cast in the form of legendary music icon Sir Elton John...
Well, this is an interesting development. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that music icon and Academy Award-winner Sir Elton John is currently in talks to join the cast of 20th Century Fox's upcoming Kingsman sequel, which is titled Kingsman: The Golden Circle. A deal hasn't been finalized just yet, but if it closes, he'll join a cast that has already added Julianne Moore (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2), Halle Berry (X-Men: Days Of Future Past), and Pedro Pascal (Game Of Thrones). Details on his potential role are unavailable, but there is a chance he may just be playing himself.
It was rumored back in 2013 that director Matthew Vaughn was eyeing John for a cameo in Kingsman: The Secret Service, but since it didn't work out then, it looks like he finally got his guy for the sequel.
The upcoming 2017 follow-up will be headlined by returning stars Taron Egerton and Colin Firth. Other returners from the first installment include Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson, and Edward Holcroft.
