Disney+ Confirms Release Of These THREE Marvel Studios TV Shows In 2024

It's no secret that Marvel Studios is looking to get back to quality over quantity, and Disney+ has now confirmed that we're getting three MCU TV shows on the streamer in 2024. Find more details here...

Over the past couple of years, we've been bombarded by Marvel Studios content on Disney+. Initially, that was no bad thing, but there's been something of a quantity-over-quality issue this past year (Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Secret Invasion, and The Marvels all fell flat with fans).

Disney+ UK has just shared a 2024 preview and, in that, we have confirmation of at least three MCU TV shows heading our way next year.

Here's an excerpt from the press release:

Marvel Studios' 'Echo' will arrive on 10 January 2024, with all episodes available. The series tells the origin story of Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behaviour in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.

Marvel fans can also look forward to the highly anticipated 'Agatha: Darkhold Diaries' series arriving in 2024, with Kathryn Hahn reprising her fan-favourite role of Westview's resident Darkhold reader, Agatha.

Upcoming animated Disney+ original series from Marvel Studios, 'X-Men '97' also arrives on the platform in 2024.

Daredevil: Born Again slipping into 2025 is no great surprise, though we'd assume this is confirmation that Ironheart is also coming the year after next. We first learned of a possible delay in a recent copyright filing from Marvel Studios, news which came as a shock considering the fact shooting wrapped last year.

It's possible extra time is needed for VFX or that a creative overhaul is necessary for that series as well. We also can't discount the possibility of it being pushed down the calendar so it arrives closer to the long-delayed Armor Wars movie.

Echo, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, and the animated X-Men '97 isn't a bad lineup, even in a year with only a single MCU movie (Deadpool 3). It's possible Spider-Man: Freshman Year and Marvel Zombies will eventually join these shows, though we're not banking on it.

We also have an update on Lucasfilm's Star Wars offerings and, despite it previously being announced for an August 2024 launch, there's no longer any mention of Andor

'Star Wars: The Acolyte'' will premiere on Disney+ in 2024. The series is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

'Star Wars: Skeleton Crew' tells the story of four kids who find themselves lost in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home. This series will arrive on the platform in 2024.

Stay tuned for updates on all these projects and more.

Am i the only one who cant wait for Echo?
Im really curious how MS will handle Kingpin and Daredevil here.
Fact that they release all episodes at once really helps too.

@OptimusCrime - We about to watch Daredevil spend the entire season attempting and failing to take the Kingpin down, after Echo and Kate Bishop crippled him in their first meeting

@Matchesz - not really.
Kingpin got hit by a car and thrown through a window, shot in the chest by an arrow and survived an explosion caused by all the arrows Clint labbeled as extreme danger. Then walked into Echo who shot him in the face and still survived.

All Daredevil did wad used his hands.

Kingpin is far stronger here than he was in the Netflix series.

@OptimusCrime - man Kingpin shouldnt have been out doing his own dirty work in the first place. Netflix Daredevil set it up to where he was untouchable. should have had him hire Scorpion or another baddie to take out Kate Bishops mom

X-Men '97 is the only thing that interests me.

I hope Agatha and Echo manage to impress people.

If Echo is just A Bronx Tale Marvel Edition with some decent action scenes, that’s good enough for me.

And people like to dunk on the idea of an Agatha show, but let’s face it: she’s probably the most compelling character from the multiverse saga so far and a big reason why people liked WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn getting to a headline a show isn’t a bad idea once you take away the “AGATHA IS A C TIER CHARACTER” arguments.

@DigDugFunny - And if Echo ends up being liked:

I’m convinced Kevin Feige is officially out of touch and for some absurd reason believes that his products need vomit inducing green screen effects to succeed
